What is Crossout, well it's a Mad Max-themed game that lets you build your own combat vehicles. You can unlock a wide variety of parts that you can use for destroying your enemies. If you like building cool cars and vehicles you should definitely check it out. - Hry
Looking past the new hover changes and how adding a wheel to your hover build makes it very powerful, this update is pretty cool. My only issue is the Daze module. Being able to deactivate your opponents weapons just isnt it.
Daze uses 3 energy, that could be spend on more usefull equipment

I honestly like the bodies staying behind. They make great cover from cannons as you push them
the bodies of dead cars slows down dogs, which isnt so bad... no more just draco'ing your way through enemy after enemy
I use only wheels and heavy tracks. This update screwed me so hard. My cars won't stop when I handbrake, tracks doesn't have good traction, wheels and tracks do not turn well anymore. I'm seriously starting to think about playing only the market.
The update may appear rushed but it may be in the right direction for sure. A little bit of patches, some elbow grease, and it should be possible for things to get streamlined before the crossplay in my opinion. This is the most major update to crossout in my entire 4 year experience. No doubt this will shake up things a lot. Cannot wait to try out other designs

Update is pretty great overall, it's funny in a game half about building, people hate having to build or revise their rides. I'll never have enough blueprint save slots to satisfy my creativity.

I was skeptical at first but I'm liking it.
3 things.
1. Camera is too arbitrarily tight. Yes. I adjusted the slider to "1".
2. Controls on tracks seems sloppy. In reality, they should be the opposite.
3. Hovers and Kapkans are still cancer.
hovers is even better than before, this is so crazy
Hi G. (That sounds like an enery drink.) By & large, I like the changes. The pop messages should be adjustable and optional. Love the improved graphics and the dead cars. You can move them around and use them a additional armor. The explosions do temporary hide stuff, it is also realistic so I think it should stay. The day the update dropped, I was playing with my "Hillbilly Wedding" (shotgun build) was wondering why my kill rate took such a jump. I didn't know about the buff to the Breaker. Overall, I think that it is more playable for old goats like me that don't have any fine motor skills. (I can see where the slower response might not make the under 70 crowd unhappy.) Oh yes, it seems that some hovers are flying higher. I had hover behind my firing at my target and when I turned around, I was able to fire under him. Is my crumbling old mind playing tricks on me or has there been a buff to hovor physics. Good video G. It will be fun to see how all this settles out. FYI: The update came while we were snowed in.
Loving the update myself. I enjoy the challenge of building and playing bikes. I was a little miffed at first but the more I play the more the wheel changes almost feel like a soft buff for bikes. Seems like most wheeled builds have lost/complain about losing a good deal of mobility while I've retained most of mine. Changes make handbrakes and boosters more relevant as well. Awesome. Hovers are still OP though imo and I've gotta laugh at all the folks QQing over what is essentially a buff in some ways, looking forward to the further changes coming down the road. As for the rest I have any experience to comment on;
- Graphics and sound are a welcome change, game feels heavier and more gritty like you mentioned
- Dig the added immersion of destroyed wrecks, they can be used as cover and the explodey bits still intact on them can still pop
- Camera distance is meh as everyone has pointed out
- UI changes are overall rubbish but I can understand streamlining for steamdeck or whatnot
- Exhibition changes are nice, I see where they're going with it but obviously needs to be polished a bit more

G, please tell the Devs to sort leggy builds out- I'm running a bigram with limited angle weapons, whenever I stop on a slight slope in walk mode, it slowly begins to rotate itself until it's directly facing 90degrees to, or across the slope and it's really messing up my aiming. The only thing I've found to fix it so far is returning the 'turn to camera' back on, which I really hate doing.
Look-bound steering the the augers is actually a solid improvement in my book. Takes some getting used to, but makes fluid direction changes easier overall with joystick strafing. Now I'm less likely to accidentally have both sticks clicked in and detonate while trying to panic wriggle myself out of a sticky situation.
Can we get Hovers their own matches. They were op enough before the update, good luck hitting them now. Keep up the great content. Stay Happy and Healthy G
Love the way the game feels now but not used to driving anymore because of it .
stearing, non stearing, stearing is still good. One has just to move the non stearing behind the center of his Build.
I also noticed on my sideways builds the cross hairs are not centered even if my build is perfectly straight the crosshairs are like one or two blocks off center to the right

Yeah just heads up for everyone new, seal clubbing with both melee and hovers are a thing now. Just keep that in mind till more patches kick in. It's gonna get rough for a bit

Engines that have a part 1 and part2 to have more effects and combos or they could be used in a singular way
It would make sense if when builds die, all their explosive chain react since the image we get is that of the builds exploding completely
Hovers are unstable see saw, if you flipp you are dead, wheels are suffering from aquaplaning, at least omni got buffed
There are a lot of bugs to be fixed. Controls are really bad on bigrams, search is broken, etc. However, It's fun. There's definitely going to be a LOT of tweaking, but it's better than the stalemate we were in I think!
Everything they did this update is perfect
I gate the new wheel turning and car rolling even on small builds. Also bigrams are super jittery and twitchy
Overall ? I like the physics change and especially the mouselook for strafe-capable movement parts. I like that side-hover people found a loophole immediately so they can continue doing their stuff and play how they like to play. I don't like the change to the handbrake and the large view-obscuring decals during the matches.

It’s definitely a good looking update, but I haven’t played enough to have any other opinions. I’ve been playing a lot of MechWarrior Online lately for my big chunky machine needs, but looks like I’ll have to come back to CO
The graphic changes I like , as other players have noted feels rushed to much to soon especially being released on clan wars night lol , having breaker hover a meta is unreal atm a lot of wheeled players aren't gonna enjoy this. Keep up the good work Mr G :)
i dont mind the burning wreckage using them for temp cover n stuff. buut myself and ive seen others get stuck on them with tanks and big builds. so id like them to be destroyable with like 1hp cab and parts so we can get free or if they also pout meatgrinder effect on goliath, tank and maybe armored tracks so they feel crushy we would have no problems... besides a wedge running up to a fkin tank should be a death sentence
Is crossout worth playing again? Haven't played in about a year on consol, but switched to pc and been toying with if the grind is actually worth it 🤣

How do you make your music ?
I have a good one for an update that'd ad a whole new element with just one change... actual night time. Now since there is a fangled sudo raytrace going on why not also throw in lighting for headlights lightbars and floodlights and throw in a little night mode in the purple optical and move thermal effects to a new relic optic.... boom new feels and technological superiority is now a thing..
And now when they get shot or blown off you go [oh no my lights] aaand you go dark or have to respawn/repair... tanks and APCs will feel soooo good umm idk where to gush more about what i think about this one tweak

Personally, I like this update. I've always been biased against hovers since they came out(I am a melee boi), but I do like the Omni hover builds comin' out.
I still need to properly test wheel placements, especially with my Claw/Sabbath builds. I've noticed having them in the back with Non-St wheels in the front works out pretty well.
So after two days of playing it, I'd give it a 7 or 8 out of 10
the fact it takes a second before my wheel builds will turn is horrible not to mention my bigrims hump the floor at the start of every game

One thing they ruined was the response time of the steering. I used to be able to lean my analog left, right, left and the wheels turned as fast as my stick moved. Now the entire steering is a whole second behind. Why would they make all wheels and steering response slower? I've spent a ton of money on crossout nerfed weapons, nerfed cabs, now nerfed steering? I think this one does it for me. RIP crossout 👍
The font style changed and I hate it. Also each line of text in all of the menus now has only the first word capitalized. Even with names. And I HATE that.
So for example it now says "Dun horse" or "Hot red" instead of "Dun Horse" or "Hot Red" And that just looks SO amateur and halfassed to me! I'm half expecting to see "Psycho pete" next LOL
Enemy corpses are cool and I WOULD love them.... BUT I actually play the Clarinet TOW sometimes and those things have been blocking my shots like crazy.
The new alerts when you get a kill take up the whole screen and I hate them.
But still I must say the game generally does look better and I LOVE how they made the ground reflect the sky in maps where it's raining.
Now I just wish they'd give us some maps that look like skateparks where we can easily catch air , and a map with a huge pitfall that you can actually get back out of via a spiral ramp (so instead of instant death you're punished by the enemy getting free shots from above!)
why'd they make the gameplay so much harder? I won one round out of six this morning. It's not fun playing for 12 seconds
My guns get locked up they don't spin anymore right when they updated the game.. that's when my guns don't spin around.. I don't know why their not working right..
I like the dead build skeletons but make them spawn for enemies killed by ranged damage, melee or explosive damage I believe should complete destroy the build as for melee, a dead corpse in your face could get you stuck or slow you down and easily get you killed
I main rocket tusk at lower ps and it's kinda infuriating having to shove off builds when I ram then because of said problems
I'm f2p player so I don't have much, but basically all my blueprints are garbage now... kinda sad cuz I was just getting back into it after a very long break but now it's not fun again :(...I might just try campaign stuff again n that's pretty much it unfortunately... the pvp is far to tedious now
Other than maybe the dead cars not disappearing and the ui looking a bit too modern, it seems fine to me. I think people are overreacting a lot.

I think its because new mechanics of handling.. i feel some understeer in front, but when im holding steering too long it goes to oversteer, big difference from the older mechanics, but ok i will try to build some new stuff, but when i want to drift i play gran turismo 😀

Am-5 avalanche on omi wheels i rest my case
legs nerf power by 5. last time i remember it was 20 when fuze 17. now 25 when fuze 22 almost no power big spider builds
omni just straight up buff no nerf. gremblin getting having issue rotations not shoting. old gremblin does can shot any rotations same goblins. full on wheels ST become better turning when add middle without ST less turning. wedge little buff because of wheel changes but still slow down wedging
also wtf connon cannon 4 energy XD. any miniguns feel like firing faster than old from old
killing enemies feel realistic but slow us down so doggos very less effective because of car parts still there and hovers with wheels so fast

I don't like the new camera angle. I prefer more of a 3rd person shooter view. Before this update there were another couple of zoom out options that you no longer have in Supercharged.
I don't like the thick black smoke you can't see through at all when you destroy a vehicle/target. I don't like that destroyed vehicles still show up as active threats on your map and radar for quite some time after they have been destroyed. MG's never did a ton of damage to begin with, but now they feel as if they do less?
The new player start up is kind of nice. It allows you to get some blue tier equipment that is also an upgraded version (sledgehammer, vector, Rapier, Growl, Chill, Tamyr) and at the end you get a teal tier (3rd tier) chest where you can pick an item. You also get some rep gear.
Maan I logged in to play crossout after a 6 month break and thought I lost ma mind. My hovers got ruined. Camera angles..after yrs of good fun they had some Vodka and were like fk it. Bye bye to my Porcs
Finally, new info. I've been waiting to hear about Gaijin's condition since February. Hope it's better now cause last I hear a year ago, it was $h!t. Moderators were jerks instead of doing their job, and devs didn't care. I haven't played Crossout since 2019 so I hope to get back to it someday. Heck, I'd get Doom Eternal if it weren't for the Bethesda Steam linked requirement. Just let Steam take over or offer a campaign only option where we can buy the game and not get involved online. That's what the Xbox 360 does. You don't need internet or accounts to play a game.
The camera is too far. I used -4 on camera distance. The closer to your guns the more precise.
overall, it's not too bad an update, but for the love of god, turn off motion blur!
They killed hovers, but we got a way to reverse it

They are not. They just more balanced so other movement parts can challenge them

I hate to say it but they really didn’t do very well on the graphics. Modern graphic cards are capable of so much more while keeping a decent frame rate.

the burnt-out shells slow down the action for melee builds. get them to flip the shells out of the direction you are traveling. flip them 3 car lengths out of your path.
Putting hovers back the way they were , fix camera, destroyed cars disappear after a few seconds as destroyed cars get stuck in builds," destruction" UI to be removed as an option and weird steering lag. Graphics is great tho but not worth the issues, as someone who has played for 6 years this was the worst update sadly, but I will always stick by this game

I don't like hover tilt, if one has to add a wheel to the build then it defeats the purpose of using hovers, and I say this as a player that does not own or play hovers.
Also the exhibition is broken.
Everything else is great, I never thought graphics could change this game so much.

•They broke all wheeled builds as well as Tracked Builds, and made hovers ridiculously over powered. Do they have any idea how to balance the game or are they just doing it on purpose to get more money out of the player base? It's not cool.
