Her reactions are over the top and reek of insincerity. To begin, given the news, one would not cup their entire face, as if to hide; rather, they'd ( an unaware, innocent person) cup their mouth, as though to quiet a scream.

I've seen a lot, but I honestly don't think so. As soon as she got interrogated by the police, she admitted having a bad feeling about some closely related persons. She pointed out Charlies's joke. If she would have been part of the plot, she'd have answered differently imo. Because the answers given by her were disasterous, especially for her brother. Putting half of her family behind bars is not part of any reasonable plan, they were just too close as a family. I don't think she knew, but she could have known - in hindsight.

So many commenters base their feelings of guilt on Wendi's appearance, her success, her entitlement, her lies about the divorce, her defence of her parents, etc. But I'm still waiting for some evidence. The drive-by is another indicatiopn of her innocence. There's no way she would have driven anywhere near the murder site if she knew the hit was about to go down. Seriously, she wasnt dumb and if she was able to avoid leaving any single other bit of evidence, why would she purposely go out of her way to blow it like that.

He had the BALLS to tell the TV repair man that Charlie joked about a new TV being Cheaper than a Hitman....while Dan was being murdered by said Hitman.
If i was the repair man i would have been like "uh....so why didn't he get you a new TV then? Did he opt for the hitman anyway?" She waited MONTHS just to be like "oh its under warranty" which she made sure to blurt out to police *right away* to explain why she had the repair man over too.
Her case is going to be wild to find out what is true and how much is lies and bullshit. I want to hear from the repair man, the man who helped her find the bourbon in the store who commented on her blue eyes, and the people at the party she went to afterwards.
I think she tried to use that to deflect away from her bro and a hitman, but it came out wrong! Manipulation sometimes goes awry sometimes with narcissists! Just look at Donna!

As soon as that officer said “there’s been a shooting at your home” - any innocent person who knew nothing about what happened would have said “omg are my kids okay???what happened???” She just sits there and listens because she knows exactly what took place and that her kids are fine.
She already knew her kids were ok. When she got in the car that was the first question she asked the detective..... if her kids were ok.
Who just immediately starts sobbing. How did the news sink in so fast. A innocent person would have had a ton of questions. First off, where are my kids. Then omg I have to tell them.

As a mom of 3, I CANNOT fathom seeing the street blocked and not IMMEDIATELY start asking if her boys are ok and say it ALL!! How are you sure they made it to daycare?? And secondly calling my spouse/ex spouse to confirm all was ok! No immediate response at all.

That is exactly what I said! She waited 20 some minutes in before she even asked about her boys. I would have gotten out of my van and asked the police what was going on and that my children live on this street. I would have stayed and asked questions not just drive off and go to lunch

In his 2 law enforcement interview he basically told investigators a scenario that turns out is actually true..that’s incredibly powerful to me. Wendi dated the wrong social worker.

I am not an attorney but could put a case together that could be very understandable to a jury against Wendi. She is not as smart as she thinks she is and I think that prosecutor will mop the floor against Wendi.

3:38 I totally agree!!! My daughter Aunt took her family down to FL to visit her sister yrs ago for 4th of July. She called me on 7/3 and told me her sister was killed by a drunk driver ,so I had to tell her brother. I cried the whole way to his work and had his supervisor pull him off his job so I could tell him. His heartbreak at the news was devastating!! I had to drive him home cause I was afraid to let him drive. That was about 25 yrs ago, and I can still see the pain in his face today from that night and cry when I think about it. And having to call my brother each time our parents died was so hard!!!

Apparently the police had already told her in the car to the station that they were at school.
Wendi didn't know the kids made it to school when she drove up to the police tape and quickly turned around and took off without asking. I have heard the tape was only 2 houses from where her kids spent the night.

Yrs ago, my oldest calmly walked into my work and said his brother was hit by a car, but he was ok. My boss said GO! I packed up and started the 1 block walk home, only to panic as I saw firetrucks and EMS lights. Get to the corner and they are at MY apt! I ran!!!! And there on the sidewalk w my son with a VERY obvious broken leg!!! I don't remember much, but I DO remember 1 of the crew opening the ambulance door and telling me to put out my hand 😂 He dropped 2 teeth in my hand and told me to make sure the tooth fairy came that night 😂😂 ( it was his 1st day of 1st grade, but he only missed 1 day of school cause his teacher was an Angel and would go to the hospital and tutor him, and then to my apt til he could go back 3 months later!)

Wendi says she had nothing to do with the murder of Dan, but if nothing else, she instigated the whole thing. She went around lying on the man plus, telling people how horrible he was to her, and telling everybody all of her business about what was going on in divorce... She was trying to make people hate him and find someone who was willing to be a hitman at the same time. I think she was testing Jeffrey to if he would do it since he was so in love with her and knew ALL the details of her divorce and how much grief Dan was causing her. And, when he didn't catch on, she went to plan #2 and tried to set him up. Jeff wanted to stay in Tallahassee too! Why in the world would she want to consider a serious relationship with him??? She was leading that man on to make him more willing if not desperate to do "anything" to keep her. But, the bottom line: She incited / instigated a murder, and that's also a crime.

I think Wendi will be convicted, on perjury charges, not murder; and because it’s a capitol murder trial, perjury can hold up to 30 years in prison. Her ridiculous acting at the police station, and her questioning the officer who is telling her about the shooting, is her way of fishing for some answers to see if she’s a suspect. Disgusting woman.
