Thanks for the different camera angles and all the explaining you do. I can now hear the wind, as compared to seeing the wind pushing the water into ripples. Jackets. No sun glasses mean over cast day. Teamwork all around, no goofing around, just straightforward work, and nice speaking for children and ladies to hear. Thank you.
Absolutely love that articulating bucket it is amazing to watch you use it good work dude is a pleasure to watch you work I have learned a lot by watching you
Love the bucket. I’ve used one similar with a hydraulic trap door. Hope you got everything cleaned up from splatter! It can be a mess. Nice work Chris 👍🏻
Nice clay and sandy topsoil in clear layers dug out with no attempt to keep the clay for the core of the dam. The words “yahoo” and “ride um cowboy “ come to mind.
Being limited to shovels, rakes, and manpower would have turned your one-day quickie repair into a Monumental Project. That articulating wrist on the mini looks extremely versatile.
Love these videos! It would be helpful for many to describe the equipment you are using for the day. Type, horsepower, model. And which bucket and why. It would be very instructional. Thanks for the great work.
After being a sub for a few months, youtube has brought me to this old video. First time I see a natural granite slab as a spillway. Neat design actually..
That concrete bucket is cool. I been disabled & out of the business for 13-14 years, but i recall using the grading bucket a bunch to cart concrete when we had to.
Another great video. I have had more luck plugging with bentonite clay than concrete. Concrete always seeps around the edges, bentonite expands and seals.
Chris: It's not everyday you see a spillway made out of solid granite:) Me: Yep, I have spillways, and granite shelves under my lawns, in the bush, under my ponds, in the way, under my house and garages, under the trees and let's not forget under the hilly part of my driveway. I'm in Northern Ontario and it is worse on the Granite Planet aka Newfoundland
Watching this channel, I realize lots of people have lots of money to spend on ponds - making them, re-making them when the first cheap guy screwed it up, fixing them...
That's what I was thinking. Easily 30k sqft of potential slabs right there. I'm just wondering how it would look and how strong it may be. If that was mine, my luck it be very brittle Sandy stuff.
A family friend in Wyoming inherited a 800 acre parcel in rural country northeast of Laramie. His wife found a hill with a view at the end of a small valley out of the wind. She wanted her "getaway dream house" built there. When they started to do assessments of the ground they found solid granite or whatever rock. It was going to be a 90 x 90 basement foundation... the rock slab was 50 x 80 and was at least 9 feet deep. So they dug the basement off of one end and the dream house became a log home with a crawl space, 90 x 90. It was a half basement under the house with the other half daylighted under his rv barn. The other side of the house had a small deck over the largest granite patio I ever saw. LOL
Dave Jefferys Hi Dave if you build a concrete bucket, concrete weight is about 2.5 ton per m3 please note this is metric ,hope this helps in your build
Brevard, NC has a huge slab like that in the middle of a river. It's called Sliding Rock. We used to slide down it when we were kids. You would hit the bottom and it was so cold if you didnt know how to swim you learned real fast.
I always enjoy watching you slick stuff up with the grading bucket.
Thanks.

Every time I see that smooth bucket I am about to see some serious grading about to happen
I bought one last year..... best thing ever did !
Absolutely love that articulating bucket it is amazing to watch you use it good work dude is a pleasure to watch you work I have learned a lot by watching you
I really enjoy the days where I can just dig and not have to dance around power lines or cable or fiber. Ah...it's nice to dream.
Love the bucket. I’ve used one similar with a hydraulic trap door. Hope you got everything cleaned up from splatter! It can be a mess. Nice work Chris 👍🏻
Get that man a bale shredder!!! Awesome work as always!
Finally back to some pondvideos..... That means it's summertime. :-)
Wow you made me so more happier for summer
@ItzMikeOmg ME TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I'm learning a lot about pond building off u thanks so much, I'm about to build a little pond on my mini farm.👍😁👍
Great shot of the skid and concrete truck working together flawlessly
A pleasure to watch an artist at work ,well done
Every time I see you run your grading bucket it blows me away!! Just like your using your hand. TOTAL SKILL!!!
Nice clay and sandy topsoil in clear layers dug out with no attempt to keep the clay for the core of the dam. The words “yahoo” and “ride um cowboy “ come to mind.
Getting so close to 300k. That’s awesome. Good video!

That articulating wrist on the mini looks extremely versatile.
Im from North carolina too. And man i love the rocks. That granite spillway is awesome. Never have I seen a whole spillway of granite rock.
Damn Man-------Look at this guy, move the dirt off the grass, and leave the grass. ARTIST!
This will be interesting, thanks. Plus thanks for allowing us to hear the engine instead of music.
Love these videos! It would be helpful for many to describe the equipment you are using for the day. Type, horsepower, model. And which bucket and why. It would be very instructional. Thanks for the great work.
That Yanmar mini has some drone notes that, when combined with the mesmerizing effect of the work relaxes me.
That trench is excavated really neat...good job
This is absolutely great vid. Keep it up, sir!
Very Nice job! 👍 You’re Very Conscientious with how things look when you’re done. 👍
Nice job Guys!
Another great job Chris and Tim, that Yanmar excavator has a soothing sound it could send you to sleep.
Agreed. That awesome Yanmar Mini is a great machie, so versatile, of course with a Master opetator at the elm ! Really impressive !
Tim has gotten good on the skid steer!
After being a sub for a few months, youtube has brought me to this old video. First time I see a natural granite slab as a spillway. Neat design actually..
Made for a great video bro, that seed and straw machine looks quite useful. Stay safe guys
Wow that digger sounds like a harmony of atmospheric music.
I thought it was music for a while.
Musical Yanmar
Wow! I believe you could groom a dog with that finishing bucket!
Fantastic job. Mother nature is quite amazing. Cornwall UK.
You know what they say "if you shake it more than twice your playing with it Tim." Lol
Looks great Chris 🇺🇲
Btw, #2- you have the skills of a surgeon with that machinery and the different “buckets”!!
Chris doing a great impression of Tim, standing with his hands in his pockets looking at a big sloppy hole.
Nice finishing your like a surgeon finishing that off
Nice patient grading work. Beautiful job!
The sound it makes when you were digging
It's just a kind of music 🎶🎵
Didn't think anyone else would mention it haha. It's drone is resonating notes of a D Major 7 chord. Very pleasing!
Always nice watching you put your skills to work.
glad you repaired the mosquito hatchery
Very nice job you make it look easy and nice touch with that bucket smooth operator you are.
Hello Chris and Tim nice work, love the videos you make, keep them coming, thank you
When I read the title I briefly thought you were installing a new leaking overflow.
I could watch that Bobcat concrete bucket all day long !!
Chris: It's not everyday you see a spillway made out of solid granite:) Me: Yep, I have spillways, and granite shelves under my lawns, in the bush, under my ponds, in the way, under my house and garages, under the trees and let's not forget under the hilly part of my driveway. I was thinking a Granite joke would rock right now.
Waw
Nice job Chris and Tim , …...…. I like that concrete bucket, …..plain & simple - does what it says on the tin.
You got Rock it is the Eastern side of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Best granite countertops come out of that rock.
I have a whole new perspective on your soil types down there seeing that granite ledge. I was one of those who thought all you had was clay and sand.
Hey Chris good video bud, some nice dirt it seemed like, looked like screened fill! Thanks for sharing looks good.
Large job! Great job 👏 👍
Watching this channel, I realize lots of people have lots of money to spend on ponds - making them, re-making them when the first cheap guy screwed it up, fixing them...
Craw dads and turtles are gonna love those old pipes in the mud
Impressive finish work
Love the videos .. your one hell of an operator
Beautiful work sir!
Once again, perfection...
always amazed me how much earth comes out of a small trench like that.
Man thats a neat bucket. I havent ever seen one of those before
Chris you sure could make ma lot of Granite countertops with that slab sticking out of the ground. Another great vid as always Thanks
That's what I was thinking. Easily 30k sqft of potential slabs right there. I'm just wondering how it would look and how strong it may be. If that was mine, my luck it be very brittle Sandy stuff.
Nice Chris youmay solve leaking problem, looks like a fun project 👍👌
The damn skid steer operator honking his horn AFTER the concrete man clearly has stopped the flow is so pointless as to be hilarious! 😂
I thought the same thing then thought maybe he was honking to indicate he was backing up.
nice work. i have doing this type of work in Sweden.
Nice video Chris. Seems like you get a lot of these pond overflow fixes.

I like that boulder, that is a NICE boulder.
A concrete bucket twice that size would be awesome. I might have to build one.
Awesome concept but they’re small for a reason. Concrete is heavy.
Dave Jefferys Hi Dave if you build a concrete bucket, concrete weight is about 2.5 ton per m3 please note this is metric ,hope this helps in your build
For the size machine He has . He would be good in most sites with a larger bucket.
I like how quickly you find problem and start fixing it.
I love the concrete bucket, I haven't seen one of those before, very handy.
The cleanest cement truck driver I've ever seen! LOL
Tim shakes it more than three times.
Nice job Chris! Tidy job site as always
Pretty work!

Good one Chris, very interesting. Thank you.
You run that excavator with surgical precision. Well done.
Good operator could butter my toste with that bucket 😁
Very nice work always looks good when you get done 👍😎🇺🇸 9:26amNY
Another good job Chris and Tim .
This time it was Chris having to twiddle his thumbs while Tim was moving the concrete . Another great video .
I learned today that excavating equipment can exhibit musical harmony.
2:18
Man you have an awesome job! I am jealous!
Professional Pond maintenance and repair Group of NC
Fancy skidsteer concrete bucket!
That's a hell of a pluggin! LOL good job man great video ; )
awesome job christ an tim!!
16:20 remember, shake it more than 3 times and you are playing with it.
Hell yes, pond detail....my kinda videos 👍🏻
Michigan called. You are hired! =)
Your concrete bucket makes me want to sing the little teapot song.
Michigan needs some help!! 😲🙈
Chris have you given any thought to having Tim clean and clay bar the skid steer before he adds a generous amount of polish. 🤣🤣🤣 Job well done by all.
Hopefully is the exact word the guy in Michigan said just as the dam failed😳
Christmas always signs his work with "Damn that looks good! "
Chris
That Yanmar sounds like spacey new age music playing in the background.
The hydraulics sound like an angelic chorus.
True
Awesome job Chris ! Could you make a video on how you got into the excavation business, please ? Or maybe there is one and I've missed it ?
Thanks a huge piece of Granite
