Hey Tightrope, thought I'd leave this comment here, just feel like sharing!
I bought Coh2 recently and have been playing solo/duo vs bots, and really been enjoying it. The first game I played I said "wow this feel like Dawn of War used to!" and would ya known, turns out that was a relic game too! Might start queueing up some online matches if I'm feeling brave (your videos are helping so much tyvm!)
My best friend used to play Coh2 quite alot 4-5 years ago, and he invited me to play but I never did. I really regret that now, he died in a plane crash in Masterton in 2019. We're both from Christchurch though I should say! I wonder if you guys ever played together or ran into each other. I really wish he was still here, we'd be watching this together!
But yeah anyway, thanks from a big noob fan from Christchurch! Glad I finally got the game and am here to learn all the tricks.

8:41 Honestly I think people are so used to being able to bully sections with light vehicles that they dont pay attention to tank hunters until its too late, even in top 50 2v2 games I see it a lot when I use them

i think its pretty obvious that 'face' is one of those ''inflation'' ranked players. getting a high rank because the guys above him left instead of gaining ranks through skill.
it does have to be noted that his pak did miss a LOT of first shots.
Sturmtiger was such a big throw there. Trash unit ever since its range was nerfed to the level of the AVRE. But they failed to account for the fact the AVRE can track its target while the Sturmtiger relies entirely on surprise. Could have sealed the game with a Walking Stuka, a second Panzer 4, or just wait for the King Tiger.
12:40 i'd greed a faust and a flame nade, 4 units retreating from a pf and .50 is not worth it.
captured .50 can suppress enemy .50 then retreat, ober push up and clear pf off, 2nd volks can recapture mg or simply stay and build defences

Does tightrope do replays of medium/low ranks or does he only do the high level boi’s?
Yeah, he casts a lot of low-rank plays. They are either hilarious or painful to watch, though, so approach with caution.
If you aren't high rank you need to become a $15+ Patreon backer for the replays to be accepted. You will also jump the queue which for COH2 replays is many months long.
Dirty finisher abusing spearhead commander is kinda lame tbh.That ultra high range shouldn't even be in the game.
It's nothing new. Many of the highest rank players are not there because they have amazing micro, but because they abuse the hell out of broken Commanders like Airborne or Guard Motor.
50:10 DF probably wanted to save his coordinated barrage on something else because if you were the brit you wouldve just braced your bofors after seeing the red smoke
