This just means that I will keep my 13PM another 3-4 years without any major issues.
Just change your battery next year and you will have a new phone again. Best possible action is to change battery AND restore the phone completely. That way you REALLY will have a brand new phone
When you buy a New iphone you can always keep it for 3-4 years without major issues.Maybe the battery will degrade but all phones do that.

iPhones really haven’t change much every sense the 11 series besides the camera and 120hz
No phone has changed since LTPO or cameras in the last 3 years
The cpu gpu ram and battery have all changed 😂😂 also with the 15 ultra / pm we’ll be on 3nm for the a17, better battery, new oled screen, much better camera sensor and periscope optical zoom, and more.
there’s a lot that has changed under the hood. trust me i went from an 11 pro max to a 14 pro max and you can definitely tell the internals had a major upgrade. speed and battery life along with the screen are WAY better. along with connectivity. i can keep going

I have and still use the iPhone 11 Pro Max! It lacks absolutely nothing, the phone is really excellent even after 4 years. Camera, speed, battery, absolutely everything in its place. 🔥😁
This is exactly the reason why i have chosen Iphone. Longevity is the name of the game. Iphone 11PM is still a solid phone, looks premium still after 4 years. I got 14PM and will definitely last me a solid 4-5 more years to come. Great review Nick

Is the battery significantly better than the 14 pro max? I’m in the exact same situation, my 11pm max is still a two day phone, and the only issue I have is lack of 120hz display and the closing of apps due to low 4GB memory

Exactly! I’ve had my 11 Pro Max for those 4 years and the only thing I’ve really noticed is the battery health. One thing I think you missed that is sometimes annoying for me is how the 14 Pro Max can use Face ID sideways, while the 11 Pro Max cannot, especially in IOS 17 taking advantage of it. MagSafe too is something I wish was imbedded within the 11 Pro Max but hopefully I get an upgrade soon. I have been waiting for this EXACT video!

For example if there are two iphone 11 pro max one consist of 64 gb and the other consist of 512gb so the performance of both variant will be same or they will be different in performance❤❤

I have the 11PM, I love the 11 series but it’s so weird how the 11 pro is smaller than the base 11. No other iPhone is like that
@@Galaxi-AT I just got a refurbished 11 PM and I think I am sending it back. Mostly, before I even put my SIM card in to start using it the phone felt hot. I have never had that happen with my XS Max and I had been using the XS Max all that day but it was cooler than the 11 PM that I hadn't used yet. I guess I am going to look at the 13 PM found out that one still allows SIM cards, too.

I find the older phones having no a more steady BT connection compared to the newer ones since they added 5G. I had the 14 and experienced BT stuttering when I’m around a FIOS router with 5G active. The older phones do not have that issue due to the lack of 5G mobile internet.
I’m considering getting an 11 pro max for that reason.
As I get older I’m starting to use my phone less heavily, always used to upgrade every 2 years but since having my 11 pro max it Honsetly gets the job done. My battery health is struggling tho but I’m considering changing it or getting the 15 pro max but I’m not sure if a new phone is even worth it for me. I have used my friends 14 pro maxes and they do feel great wirh that pro motion however, idrc that much and apples 60hz displays are pretty smooth. USBC on the 15 pm is really intriguing for me tho 😭

I still have my iPhone 11 Pro Max 64gb midnight green running it on iOS 17.0 and couldn’t be anymore happier 🥺📍 battery health on 79% still not a big deal to me
iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro Max are both great phones however my biggest mistake was choosing the 64gb version. It got full after 1 year and had delete photos and apps to download new ones. Anyways upgrading to the 15pro max after 4 years

What happened to me is that I bought the iphone 11 (the base one, not the pro version) when it came out and when I usually use my parents phone (Samsung galaxy s22 and 23), I feel that my iphone's screen got really old (Pro version has an OLED screen, where the basic model has IPC screen). That's the only "problem" I see in my case. However, I'm gonna keep using this one 'cause the prices in europe are too expencive.

I have had my iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB in Gold just on 3 years now.
My Battery life is down to 91% at present.
I have had a very good experience with the 11 Pro Max and I will keep this phone as I would like my wife to start using it and retire her iPhone 8 Plus, that is now 6 years old.
At present she is not interested....lol
I will be upgrading to the new iPhone 15 Pro Max/ULTRA once it is released here in AUSTRALIA next month or early October.

My current phone is an 11 pro max. I wanted to upgrade earlier this year to a 14 pro max. But when I put them side by side and opened apps, it was hardly an upgrade. My 11 often beat the 14. I went for the 14 because I love photography. And according to Apple it should be a massive camera upgrade. But I personally hated the heavy sharpening. It was so sharp, to me it lost all credibility. I don’t want to have to use raw because that takes up so much storage. I also noticed that the battery drained faster then my older iPhone. And these two are the most important to me. Right now, my current phone gets me through the day with 88% of battery health. So I actually returned the 14. It wasn’t worth the upgrade. I did love the display tho. And in hindsight with the battery health issues on the 14 models, I think I dodged a bullet. Because I want to keep a phone for atleast 4yrs. The 14 just doesn’t seem like a long term phone without having to charge during the day. And that would be a downgrade for me. And tbh, because Apple have not addressed this yet despite the many complaint, Im actually reluctant to opt the 15 series
The 11 beat the 14? I already notice a big of a difference between the 11 and 12 the 14 alone has 120hz so the difference will be dramatic
@@redeem5858 it did. Some apps opened up quicker on my 11 then on the 14. And I didn’t think the 120hz was that spectacular. Maybe because I just don’t care about it. Maybe it’s my WiFi connection. Idk. I only know I was greatly underwhelmed by the 14 pro max. Maybe it was hyped up too much in reviews and my expectations were too high. But for a phone that is nearly €1300 euros, I expected a lot more improvements then what it showed me.

I have the iPhone 11 pro max and my big sister has 14Pm. We switched phone for about 2-3months and for experience because at that time I really want to try the 14pm. Here’s what I found. 14pm biggest upgrade is the 120hz screen, 5g, and camera. At first i was so excited but when i switch back to my original phone i love my 11pm more. The problem with it is the battery health but I replace the battery so its better now. 120hz makes my eye hurt i dont know why but i prefer 60hz more. CZcams also does not support 120 so thats why 60hz/fps is more than okay to me. Its weird playing games at 30fps now too. The camera has no big difference. Yes the camera upgraded but the resolution did not. There are many features has been added but theres only a slight difference to them. Last is 5g. My region does not support it sooooo. Its kind of useless tbh. We also have wifi and prefer pocket wifi moreee soo. If you’re an average user 11 pm is sooo much better but if you’re a gamer or editor then go for the 14pm. But trust me. The 11pm is more than okay. You can also buy the stabdard 12 if you really want to have a modern phone

I've been using android as long as I can remember i was thinking of buying s23u but had doubs because s24 comes next year. Worse rumours say it's exynos chip comeback. So i'm considering to get iphone 15 instead. But i'm a heavy gamer and kinda worried that the battery life might deteriorate fast.
I just upgraded to a 14 PM from an 11PM just this week. It doesn’t feel much better in performance like.. at all for me. I tend to use it for my genshin impact daily and daily phone tasks but honestly I’m a bit regretting it even still. I think I’d rather have got a rog 7 ultimate. My battery health on the 11 is 80% and I agree about what you’ve said I probably could still get away with the 11. I have a week left to return it but I’m on the fence I don’t know whether it’s worth paying an extra £40 a month for when the 11 still copium, any thoughts from a gaming perspective please? I.E heat of the device etc

@@shortie12 yes the stutters, they are absolutely evident on the 11 even with low specs but I think that the 11 pro max being only 64Gb memory has something to do with it, and the 14 pro max I opted for 512GB and I don’t get many at all but it still has to be on low end of the spectrum of graphics or it overheats really quicker than expected (on the 14)

I upgraded from galaxy s10 in 2020 didn’t bother with the 12 pro max as I had read the 11 pro max had stunning battery life so I opted for that and as I text have now finished my plan will probably upgrade to 15 pro max. 11 pro max still has stunning battery life. I use personal hotspot daily to watch streaming on the tv. I have used and abused this phone all for hotspotting and still I could get two more years out of it.
I love the design on the IPhone 11 and the IPhone XS Max. Love that curve or rounded edge. I was hoping the IPhone 15 was going to have that design. Hopefully apple brings it back.

I miss the lightness of 11 Pro Max compared with the 14 Pro Max.
I have owned the 11 pro max and the 13 pro max. The 13 pro max design will cut into your pinky finger and irk you. Yes - it's a phenomenal phone with exceptional performance. But you will notice the design takes a lot to get used to. After 15months of using my 13pro max, I ditched it for 14 pro. A lot less phone, quieter but effective. Im used to battery now, dynamic island is great. 14 pro max is a giant of a phone just like predecessor.

Battery health isn’t accurate . In the short cuts battery stats says the real battery capacity . My phone is 92 battery health after a year and in the battery short cut stats it says 173 cycles and 86.7 battery capacity compared to new .

I love the 11 PM. Another year before you upgrade? I don’t think so, I will by another, just for back up. The flush lenses, stainless steel, frosted midnight green glass, long battery life and the ability to have it repaired by a phone tech other than apple. I can’t remember where I read what phone after the 11 they we’re going to implement that, but, they also were talking about killing the ability to access your sim, if I’m not mistaken. I loved the one hand texting on my 1st generation SE. It was the perfect fit and feel in my opinion. As a matter of fact I bought twins. Now Apple has gone back to that design.
7:27 i think that if the companies stopped upgrading their products every year we wouldnt see much of a difference we wouldnt mind really at this point cause the camares for example are already incredible but things that have to change for a phone to last longer is the battery for example and the Chip also has to evolve because the applications getting heavier and heavier. And that's where you see a major difference over the years.

@@Russsssss i have the 14 pro max also upgraded from the 11 pro max on launch i have to say the experience is better but it tends to hang on some spots where the 11 pro max never did for example if im on a call and go to turn on bluetooth from the lockscreen the phone will freeze for 30 seconds as where the 11 pro max never did

You should notice a massive difference in cameras and speed also the 120GHZ display with dynamic island. Other than that yeah it's the same phone but it depends what you're looking at. If you are expecting a phone revolution like the OG IPhone then keep waiting lol.
You're expecting a change in the way we interact with technology, which is not going to happen in this lifetime, so you better embrace that. We have vision pro coming out if your interested in that.
