- This video is a tierlist showcasing what I personally think the next best decks of the September 2023 format will be. I'll be going over 25 of what I think are the most played decks out there, so if you think I missed anything then let me know in the comments below! Keep in mind that this is just my opinion and my opinion only, and that these were formed right after the banlist dropped.

salad core can get u a decent end board, combine it with no engine and can be very destructive, a pheonix that gets u a pop4 with an auto set counter ovninegate, a protective cand on grave plus a pheonix that can comback basically every turn, and the field second eff is now usable, lets not forget the new stratos secod eff, and the accescode for game. i think it can be very solid, ive been testimg it and its been doimg great, and really consistant
Kash is still a good deck it just becomes a rank 7 toolbox post age of overlord the deck gets anti Zeus
I know thats not on topic, but have u tried some type of shaddoll punk deck? Foxy tune triggers your shaddolls and jam dragon can send wendi to grave. Ive tried it a bit, but i cant seem to find a consistent way to schism, just food for thought

I've been playing Unchained as my no 1 for years now. Never thought it'd ever be a top tier deck lol.
A few things I wanted to address:
1. This list is MY OPINION ONLY. There are going to be things you disagree with and that's fine. I haven't tested all of these decks, especially not post banlist so some of these opinions might be "uninformed" - so take everything with a grain of salt. There's bound to be a deck that I'm wrong about since this was filmed right after I saw the list and these are just my initial thoughts.
2. I can't possibly cover every relevant/semi-relevant deck in the meta. This list only shows the top 25 decks that I personally felt would be the most talked about/represented. Inevitably, a relevant deck is going to be forgotten and I apologize for that.

how good is plunder patroll in this meta? i really love playing that deck and it's super cheap

Probably rogue, splashed with runicks it can be strong but I'm not sure this is the right format for them since runicks aren't too good vs unchained
where do you think majespecter will be in the future?
I haven't tested the cards, but the new cards seem great. Seems like a good combo deck that might struggle going second, so probably tier 2
whats your opinion on altergeist
Probably near the bottom of rogue, especially with nibiru on the rise. I just think even as a pure control deck labrynth does it better
Dlink rogue is insane. They didnt really lose anything just some consistency.

@@jayman445 Agree. Consistency literally what made dragon link one of those combo deck being good compared to other, non consistent combo deck. Chaos space, for example made a trade off between unplayable hand into one of the combo starter without even normal summoning anything and turn that mega brick into a fine end board

I picked what I felt would be the 25 most represented decks in the next format to keep the video at a reasonable length. I couldn't possibly cover everything in a reasonable amount of time so I had to leave some out
