Well, technically in the comics she was a mutant, daughter of Magneto, but she did have more witch than Mutant, because she did cast a spell that erased all the mutants.
Thought some of the visuals had a Tim Burton sort of vibe...

I'm curious what Rio's (Aubrey Plaza's character) role in the series will be. We see her help Agatha break out of the spell & walk the Witches Road/ get her powers back, but we also see them fight during the trailer, & there hv been rumours she'll be the villain.

I am not sure he remembers who he is at first.
I think a lot of people are missing the fact that Agatha was in Wanda's "vision" of how life was like a sitcom. So expecting this show to be that isn't how it's going to be. Of course it's going to have mcu humor but Agatha in her life did kill her mother and coven which is dark in itself. Just keep in mind that the show Agatha was in was told from Wanda's perspective.
2:33 5:16 Apparently there are references to quite a few different films & shows in the Agatha trailer lol (i.e. the opening w/ Agatha as a detective driving to a crime scene is an homage to Mare of Easttown).

THIS LOOKS 100% MY VIBE!! Spooky, witchy, a little campy, mysterious, magical, etc SO I AM SO EXCITED!!!! I am a bit nervous that they will make the scary moments too silly. It doesn’t look that way but I hope they lean into the spooky side of marvel comics.

The absolute best villains are the ones whose motivations make at least a little sense. Not evil simply for its own sake, but an understandable motivation.
Can that happen here? Please do not make this a redemption story, Marvel. Agatha in the comics was/is a powerful character. Do not cheapen her.

Is Agatha even a villain in the comics? From what I was reading about her on Wikipedia, it didn't seem like she was ever a villain in any of her stories.
She really wasn't. I think they are going this way, because Kathryn Hahn playing Agatha was really successful. So maybe they are keeping at it.

I don't know if you've noticed but sometimes the music will get lower then higher then lower again. I think they get a copyright strike if it lasts more than 30 secs to 1 minute? I read it somewhere but I don't remember where.

Yeah, but Deadpool and Wolverine wasn’t even even that good at the plot was very very weak and it looked extremely CGI and filmed in front of a green screen
It was a spank fest of nothing but cameos. It seems going forward for the films. That’s all they’re gonna do cameos and nostalgia bait. That doesn’t seem good or bode well for the future of the franchise.

Hope it's good but really don't understand how this pushes the Marvel story.
It doesn’t necessarily have to, especially not project by project. Why are people against one-offs? Werewolf by Night is essentially a one-off, but the characters are likely to show up again in a few years.
Agatha is an important character. She helped Franklin Richards learn how to control his powers. Since they are bringing the Fantastic Four and the X-Men into the MCU, this could lead to an adaption of the Onslaught storyline, which Franklin plays a crucial role in.
Obviously, this show won't tie in to any of that, but it is a good way to gradually turn Agatha from a villain into a hero.

She spent centuries murdering other witches for power & immortality, and now they're going to humanise her... It feels very much like an afterthought.
The trailer's cut together well, but looking at the plot and characters, I can't see it being good (will wait for the reviews) - looks watchable and forgettable.
I think she will try to take advantage of the women they wouldn't just "humanise" her for nowhere. If they do, it will take some time.
