Thank you for the clip. I do not think anyone can review these things better than you.
After seeing your review, I think I may end up buying them both.
    PS. Hello from Thailand.

Matt - I know how much you love lighting from all the videos you've produced about it. :) You should take a look at Claymore lights. I purchased one for the approaching camping season and I think you'd love them. They are built for the outdoors.

I own the ultra 2. It was a pick for my Christmas video. :-). Great lights.

Awesome. Thank you for the review. I went with the color ones. Why? I live in Alaska. It’s DARK! The white light on the colored ones is bright enough. But mostly I use the “red” , which is really pink. White attracts the mosquitoes, unofficially the Alaska state bird 😂.
Again, thank you for the the excellent review sir 👍👊🏼

Thanks for sharing the video. I'm looking at this unit and couldn't decide whether to get just the normal warm white or the coloured lights, since all I really need around the camp site are a white light/warm light and amber lights. Pity they don't have a version that just have the white and amber lights.

These lights are so quick and easy to set up - in either color. I agree doing a white and amber combo would be a great combo.

Can you plug a USB cable in to run the light ???

Can the lights be used while they are plugged into an electrical outlet for charging?

Nice video thanks. Question: can a battery station with USB ports charge some things in a hiker? One that charges car battery?

Charger for a car battery I would use NOCO brand.

Just got mine in and gotta say I'm a little disappointed. I went with the regular warm white unit. However, it does not seem "warm" to me at all. Looks just like regular white light. There is no yellowish tint to them at all as seen in your video. Also, the end of my string doesn't have a built-in charger like yours does, it just has a clip the same as the colored string unit. Mpowered must have changed things on this unit? I really wish they hadn't. They do indeed provide a lot of light but I was going more for a "warmness" instead of just regular bright white lights.

That is a bummer, sounds like they have made changes since we purchased ours.

Thanks for the great REVIEW Matt! I just got the Black one from Amazon Treasure Truck... today! Do you know if they make one with BUG-LITES (yellow/ amber)? I'm just getting my (fixer) motorhome all dialed in... and thought this LIGHT system would be great, inside or out!
    Thanks, Rick

@@MWDAdventures Thank you so much for getting back. I absolutely love my black with warm lights. Purchase from REI. But I also like the color purple and some iridescent colors. Great video. I will be purchasing that as my Christmas gift.
