I posted a benign comment about the Xenon saying I didn’t think the majority of people need a large grey scale palette because MOST people don’t wear those colours regularly. A mini or quad would do just fine for MOST people. Got a snarky response I should “speak for yourself, HON.” Um… I was? Takes a special kind of person to be condescending to a stranger on the internet over eyeshadow 😂

I do wear these tones regularly but you are still right! I don’t need a big palette with a lot of the same colours. I could just manage one black metallic added to the mini xenon.
I LOVE all the greys. It's my favorite color to wear BUT I hate a grey that pulls or turn blue, because I look like 80s trash in blue, much to my absolute disappointment 😞 um, but this palette looks like they turn blue really quickly in an eye look - I was told I didn't know what I was talking about lol😂 girl I guess. Ima just stick with MAC Taylor Grey, ABH sultry, and stone cold fox because on me, those greys remain grey on my skin tone.
@@AngelicaNyqvist I often suspect it’s not brand loyalty that makes people argumentative but some people feel if you’re saying negative things about a colour story, it’s like you’re attacking their aesthetic. Like if I say I don’t like purple palettes (I don’t) somehow I’m saying people who do like them have bad taste and look ugly (I’m not.) I don’t ever see anyone going to war because one person likes pineapple on their pizza and someone else doesn’t and you’d never see fights over different brand preferences of coffee or peanut butter. But I guess what you like to wear on your face and how you present yourself to the world feels personal?
That's wild! I'm a neutral gal leaning cool, so when Yucca came out I was like eh, probably won't emphasize my features. But I was happy for all the warm gals and people who really pop with those greens and yellows! Also, we've all been complaining about Pat McGrath doing the same palette over and over, Natasha is doing the opposite of that. All her launches this year have been so different from each other. That means by default nobody is going to love or look good in all of them, and that's ok because we asked for creativity! I love your bright, colorful looks, Angie!

I'm quite fair with a cool undertone but like almost denatured skin, like you can see my veins and things through my skin. I love the Natasha Denona xenon palette on my skin. Smokey eye with a cool red lip, perfection 🥰

Same thing happened to me on Heather Austin’s video. I said I bought this palette to replace a gray palette I decluttered. I said I was disappointed there wasn’t a matte black.
Someone snarky said that it’s a companion to the mini, and the mini has a matte black. I was like…😳🤔 Myeah.
First, I knew that. Second, the photos that ND put out actually shows a matte black, but I think it’s actually blueish. Finally, I thought it was appropriate to put a matte black because not everyone has the mini.

Im intrigued by the Huda palette. But definitely will be seeing it in person first. Every palette I swore I wanted so far this season has been disappointing when I went in to see it in person. So I’ve bought none of them.
That said - I have the imperial topaz palette from Wayne Goss and love it. I wish he sold smaller versions of his palettes, but I get that make up artists like the giant pans. I would buy more if they were smaller.
Looking forward for you to try the Melt palette! I also like the Christmas Town colour story way more than the Halloween town (big Nightmare Before Christmas fan here). One of the owners said that everything will be released separately and now it's only the pre-launch bundle.
That huda collection looks so good. I think I’d prefer it to the Natasha denona palette.

I’m getting tired of cool palettes . They are so much work for me if they are too grey. They turn blue, which I don’t like or they give me the wrong coloured shadows. I have to warm them up if they are on the far end of the cool scale.

Please review the Huda Pretty Grunge palette because the swatches I've seen are not as cool as the ND Xenon so could work for us warm toned gals! Ooo and the blush balm because that looks really nice and glossy. Huda's formula is beautiful. I found it very similar to Nabla's formula

I don’t like the grey mattes on my skin tone, so I’ve been using it with the my dream palette. Nurture or another lighter shade as a transition color and it helps so much!

I gotta say, Huda does try different things and she is innovative. She seems to be consistently good. I do know that her perfume brand, or her sister's brand, is great. Its the only perfume brand that the scents last for more than a few minutes. Perfume brands seem to think the quicker a scent disappears, the faster we will rebuy it but thats not exactly true. If your like me, you don't want to repurchase something that only works for a few minutes or not at all. Maybe you should do a video on that, if u have the same issues . . . or is it just me?

I would personally be very interested to see you try the Huda Beauty palette, the blush gloss, and the silk balm!! I looovveeee the Huda beauty silk balm, I think it's a great formula. I tend to wear it as an overnight lip mask and I always wake up with super smooth, nice feeling lips. When my lips are really chapped (and they get bad, I live in cold ass upstate NY) the silk balm always saves them.

Love Halara and have the older pet leggings. Super comfy and work! The need to touch grass had me laughing so hard - or perhaps smoke it and chill a bit? Absolutely love the smell of pur tomato plant! I rub it, rosemart, and peppermint in my hands and the combo smells divine ✨️

I mean, how varm colours show up on different skintones is also different. I think we should talk about this in general, not just when a cool tone palette shows up. On a cool toned person all variations of varm "neutrals" simply just look orange, just like most cool tone "neutrals" look grey on someone with a warm undertone. I think we should talk about this in general, not just when the cool tone season is here. Warm tone seasons usually last for years and cool tones for like a few months so the discussion would be good in general so cool toned people can find good palettes also outside cool tone season.

Thoughts: Who knew Lime Crime was still around? Beyonce might be sold in a Macy's or something like that. Maybe even Ulta. Sephora tends not to do celeb scents. Generally a year or two after release, you can find many celeb scents in stores like Walgreens. And my favorite thought...every time I see Kajsa, I think how much your family needed her and didn't know it. She clearly loves you so much.

I love seeing the differences on how palettes swatch on different skin tones. I have a neutral to slight cool undertone with a fair to light skin tone. I like to watch the looks you come up with and skincare recommendations. I have oily skin and I’m 46.

I’m in neutral lover, and I love Huda’s formula, but I think I have every shade of brown and tans and grays and silvers and kinda silvers and bronzes and kind of bronzes and I just don’t need the same shades over and over in a different formula because if I need it more shiny, I have enough toppers I can top them To get the exact shade I want. But I love you’re saying you do you and I’ll do me but for me don’t waste your money on it honey and I agree 100% on that Zion pallet because I’m a warmer under skin town.

I enjoy the lime crime eyeshadow formula and the freckle pen. I used to love their liquid glitter things for eyeliner or cut creases but I haven't seen them anywhere

What a coincidence, I have seriously just recently come across an old woman's coat, forgotten from the 1950's, and I can confirm that it smelled of patchouli, but also of stale lavender, because, in Eastern Europe, they used to pack clothes with lavender scented moth balls
