I personally don't think that's what Wanderer was meant. Wanderer specifically mentioned our "conscience", which might imply that our empathy and humanity would get us in trouble if we were to cross Colombina. He also emphasized her innocence and obliviousness, which gives a further reason as to why we might feel guilty harming her. He, on the other hand, said that he would at least be able to challenge her to a fight, and we all know that while he's not a complete psychopath, he doesn't feel much empathy nor connection to the weak or suffering, or just to human emotions in general. Maybe she does have some sort of power over emotions, like you said, or maybe there's something about her background and/or circumstances that might make fighting her go against Traveller's morals?
I’d argue that he’s not a psychopath at all anymore. He no longer harbors as much hatred towards humanity and therefore doesn’t want to kill everyone.
Even though he might think the worst in people occasionally, Wanderer is definitely someone who can see through the bs.
I'd argue wanderer's whole point is that he's TOO emotional. It's why he was discarded by raiden, it's why he's been so desperate to get a "heart" and why when he was left alone he got consumed by hatred and went full angry emo. He's never been a psychopath- quite the opposite

Here’s my take on the top 3 harbingers since pierrro is an. Outlier for Khaneriah.
Capitano represents pure physical strength of a person. Dottore represents the technological advantage of humanity. And Columbina represents the supernatural and the spiritual sides of a living being. I doubt she’s a human so it makes sense she represents the supernatural gods of this world that came before the usurpers did.

Id bet its her voice that affects people. Scara isn't human so it may not phase him. It could envoke feelings of sympathy which could be a refence to the traveler's conscience which scara brings up specifically.

I mean all other archon except for Raiden (we still don't know how powerful matra is) are just chilling (in the case of Nahida she is prisoned and weakened) so it make sense why she is powerful, She has a reason to fight because of her hatred to Celestia, so I think she is gonna be stronger than Ei but not sure about the pyro archon.

Mondstat also has mona s teacher i guess, and dvalin and the storm wolf. Liue has all of zongly adepti and xiao. For inazuma and sumeru i cant think of anyone rn tbh and i havent played fontaine but im sire they all have powerhouses as well its just that they arent active in any schemes that would put them in our path in an antagonistic role

eh depends what u mean by feared. Columbina scares people more but in terms of strength the captain is the most overwhelming. His presence is off putting and the only thing that makes people love him is how honourable he is. Apart from that his power is made out to be downright oppressive and overwhelming. Childe described himself as being a nobody near the captain, but childe in fontaine can throw hands with the narwhal for 40 days

so for the people above, it might be 40 days or more than a month but in the abyss, it has probably spanned over several months

I think dragon sovereign will still win no matter how much fatui harbringers becomes powerful. He is the heir of the ancient beings who ruled the tevyat before the usurpers. He is strong enough to judge gods. And imo after his authority came back his power grwon very much. We have seen apep was putting pressure alone with her presence. So if niuvilliete shows his true form it will be likely. I think he is strong enough to take dottore easily lore wise.
It makes sense one of the shades being with the Fatui. This is one explanation why they are not affected by Irmisul, it could ruin their plains if someone changes Irmisul without their knowlegde.

About living with humans, even the God of Flowers lived with humans, it is not very unlikely for a Shade follow the same path. Though to be fair, based on characters like Pulcinella, the mayor of Shneznaya, and Pantalone, the fatui’s financial figure head, rank isn’t ENTIRELY determined by raw power. Seelie were a race that guided humanity and gave them knowledge so maybe what she brings to the table isn’t combat prowess but instead knowledge of the divine?
we know nothing of pantalone and pulcinella’s capabilities. all we know is that arle views them as heartless. childe’s voiceline abt columbina and scara’s story both fit with strength being the thing that determines rank.
She can only be a Seelie if she has never felt love because the people of the seelies turn into these little ghosts when they fall in love

Columbina might be stronger then the archons since all archons possess the stolen dragons power. She might be in the same class of power as the unknown god and was casted out with her memories jumbled and power reduced to 50%

Also I don’t know too much about the 4-5 people in the powerful group but maybe she is slowly losing her power/lost her power and needs to be around death to regain it. Maybe she joined the fatui to absorb all the power or she’s getting stronger to finally de-throne celestia. I’m going to give her my life savings once she comes out I love biblically accurate angels so much 😭🙏🙏

Dottore doesn't fear Columbina, but it would also explain why Columbina herself doesn't fear Dottore, either. They both have bird (raven/dove)/death (plague doctor/angel of death) motifs too, and in the Fatui artefact set, the artefact corresponding to her is, fittingly, Dottore's 'Wise Doctor's Pinion.'
It would also make sense why Dottore and her are so close, even having a flirtatious relationship, considering she is literally the opposite of Nahida's 'life.' Though she certainly is not the strongest Harbinger - Dottore and Pierro, possibly Capitano as well, surpass her in terms of strength as we know from Childe. It could be said all three of them perhaps have 'conquered death,' Dottore even possibly falling in love with her (which, if she is a Seelie, could explain some of her motivation.)
Though as much as I love them together, I believe that each Harbinger has their own independent and ancient reasons for joining the Fatui with the exception of Childe (personal but not ancient) and Scaramouche ( mummy issues, nothing even happened to him lmao), so we'll see what Columbina's is with time.
I think it certainly will be an ancient grudge, as Columbina seems like one of the older Harbingers in terms of age, and we know most of them are not human (Dottore, Childe, and Pantalone are the only known exceptions to this, though Dottore has most certainly surpassed the limitations of an ordinary human on the fact he has strength fit to rival Archons and absolutely could wipe the floor with Ei, Zhongli, and all the rest if he wanted to [not the HP tho], the point is he is not a supernatural being, and Childe technically isn't either [though his Abyssal form is?]) We also know a good number of them seem to have motivations tied to the Cataclysm, with Dottore and Childe once again being the notable exceptions that we know of, given both were too young to experience it personally. (Dottore is less than 500 yrs old but possibly more than 200 years old, given the events in Tatarasuna, we definitely know he wasn't around during the Cataclysm because studying ancient civilisations' technology was forbidden by the Akademiya, and IIRC it was not during Faruzan's time, so he is younger than she is at least by a bit, and she certainly is not 500+ years old lol.)
So, yeah, it'll be interesting to see what her deal is because there is a good chance she could be like Neuvillette and have a grudge that is far more ancient than the Cataclysm, but chose to align with the Fatui instead, perhaps recognising that they have the best odds of winning for a reason we do not yet know. . .
As far as what Scaramouche says about her, you are misunderstanding it completely. He mentions a *conscience,* saying that Columbina could deceive the traveller with an innocent act of being a poor little damsel to basically get a cheap shot in via manipulation (which is why he says *with your conscience,* not with your strength.) What he's saying is that he'd see through her act whereas the traveller would not, but this is the same manlet who is assmad at Dottore for literally no reason and claims he was "manipulated," so it's just classic Scaramouche delulu/overestimation of abilities. If he had zero intel on Columbina, she could play him like a fiddle I'm sure. Either way, I hope she and Dottore tear him apart.

I’m pretty sure we saw Dottore purposefully lace the mikage furnace so ppl would get sick and die, kill niwa and frame him, and lead scara to sacrifice himself in the mikage furnace to see if he could turn to ash.

Cryo archon, Hexenzirkel and the remnant of the primodial one(the 4 shades) are plotting to overthrown the 2nd descender off celestia.

She's definitely the most interesting harbinger, and the argument for her being the shade of death is pretty strong. But, I think Lumine and Aether being the shades of life and death makes a lot more sense.
She wears a flower in her hair, symbolic of the flower of life, and the flower artifact. He wears feathers in his hair, symbolic of the plume of death, and the feather artifact. Her outfit is light, symbolic of the light of life. His outfit is dark, symbolic of death. Lumine roughly translates to light, whereas Aether in mythology is the son of Nyx (the godess of night), and Erebus (the god of darkness). They both fly around with wings in the opening cut scene, indicative of their angelic/shade like properties. They both have the primogem star motif on their outfits, indicating a connection to the primordial one/Celestia. They have a special bond with Paimon, who is theorized to be the primordial one/phanes. And it just makes sense that twins would represent the duality of life and death.
It also makes sense that they'd be fighting the second who came, who many people think is the unknown god from the opening cut scene. She calls herself the sustainer of the heavenly principles, because she's taking on the role of the heavenly principles, after having defeated the true heavenly principles (Paimon).

prologue: So we all know venti is the child of istaroth in some way but there's a thing that was bothering me about venti and their connection to death (theory about venti being the god of death by chill with aster) because people of mondstadt say that barbatos guides the spirits and we can see venti making the fake stanley npc see his dead friend to talk to him and have some sort of connection, that thing made me believe that venti isn't only istaroth's child but the shade's of death child too! because in greek mythology as i remember from history class most of the siblings would marry eachother because there was no one around yet and i thought that genshin took that idea but with the four shades, and istaroth's and the shade of death reason would be to create something powerful together by combining their powers to one being. or two. (because venti also seems to have some power of time by istaroth because as they say they know every song of the future past and present and also seems to know what is going to happen in the future, also for those who are going to say ''then how did they let signora take their gnosis'' venti gave it on purpose to help tsaritsa. venti wakes up from their slumber every time they know something bad is going to happen in the future or is happening to save them like they did with vanessa)
SECOND PROLOGUE:so i heard a theory (when i find the video im gonna put the link) that columbina and venti are something like spies of istaroth because istaroth in real life one of her representations is a dove and columbina is litreally named little dove and istaroth uses them (the video said other people too) as her eyes because her statue in inazuma has multiple eyes but her's are closed and the reason columbina has her eyes closed is so that istaroth cant see from her eyes (also i think venti said that they are being watched and maybe they meant istaroth and not celestia but correct me if im wrong cause i havent played the archon quests in a really long time)
NOW MY THEORY: i believe the shade of death and istaroth created venti and columbina as their tests and passed some of their powers to them and thats why venti has connection to these powers now for columbina i think she saw that signora was going to die and thats why she was so calm about it, i believe that at one point got sick of being just a test and just weapon to use for them, and left and thats why in twitter venti's post is called the true feelings of the prodigal son (random now but i think the only reason they said son is to not confuse the fans because i have a theory that is kinda true that venti is either androgynous or agender cuz for example phanes was androgynous so it isnt something surprising for venti to be too, and maybe thats why they changed the nameless bard body to a more feminine one cuz the namelss bard has a different body than venti to the animations if you compare them)
COLUMBINA'S REASON:As the time flew by columbina left too and was alone seeking revenge to the gods, so she joined the fatui. but also maybe wanting to free her sibling by letting them finally free from this endless punishment that celestia let to venti, and i think most importantly columbina wanting to be stronger than her parents that just used her as a test, as a weapon. she would be the weapon that they created but this time she would fight them to show them what they created and that she was something more than just a test and a weapon.
NOW MY THOUGHTS ON OTHER THINGS: now for venti its complicated, i belive venti just wants to have a good reletionship with them but just cant forgive them, in general venti for me is a very complicated character but thats why they are my fav and the reason i even try to make theories for them and other characters, but yeah other theories for venti i have are how venti is the stronger archon and around what venti is but i mostly create stories for venti based on what i belive could happen but just dont have evidence for it and just do it for fun because i end up liking them a lot so if someone wants to hear one of them (the one i focus a lot on is about venti's whole personality their feelings and etc) you can ask me or when i post it on wattpad ask me to put my username on the comments

I would imagine a fight against Columbina would be something like LEGENDARY BATTLE (Mundus) from Devil May Cry or Father Balder from Bayonetta.
Though we also need to know why she joined the Fatui. Like does she hate celestia as well. Was she perhaps outcasted by celestia and then the cryo archon took her in and joined her in the quest to go against celestia. Perhaps she could be the recorder. The one who records the truth of teyvat. She saw everything and as result, celestia tried hide their shameful history and decided to get rid of her. They took her eyes for some reason. Before she died the Cyno archon saved her.
I like to think that Columbina is in fact the strongest Fatui. Now, I have no actual proof, but I have my reasons.
She's described as both an innocent and oblivious individual, but someone so unsettling Childe and Scaramouche tell us to stay away.
Now, I think she's stronger than being the 3rd rank Harbinger because what if she simply made it apparent that she's powerful, but to prevent to much suspicion on herself, makes herself seem a threat, but mot the worst.

I somewhat agree. So far, my impression of Capitano would be strong as a General in the battlefield and also negotiation. A leader on the field and off field. While Columbina, she looks like she is strong as a monster with no morality whatsoever. In a way, she is more scary than Capitano even though Capitano might be the strongest.

I imagine Columbina's strength lies in deception. Tartaglia refers to being unsettled by Columbina because he knows she must be powerful to be #3 BUT she maintains a façade of a sweet, innocent girl whose intentions are unknowable because they're lost in her whimsical nature. Scaramouche says the same indirectly. That he could fight her and the Traveller should run because as a construct he is apathetic to human emotion. The Traveller is not, and may subsequently lower their guard or hesitate and that may be where Columbina is her most deadly. Here Scaramouche is either alluding to any powers here that Columbina's possesses or her mode of combat.
It'll be interesting to see what Arlecchino has to say about Columbina. As #4, she must be incredibly influential, powerful or both. If even Arlecchino is intimidated then there's something more to Columbina that goes beyond mere combat prowess.
I always thought she was an angel due to the whole thing on Archons having demon names. Barbatos, Morax, Beelzebul/Baal, Buer, Focalors, Asmoday/Ashmoday (I don't remember how it's spelled but it's the Sustainer). If demon gods can exist, why not angelic beings? Her feathers are shaped similarly to seraph wings, which can be taken as a hint towards her being some sort of angel-like being
i think that she might be like Ultimatia from Ragna Crimson. She is evil pure evil, but at same time she is divine being, she is innocent in her eyes, somehting like that

I don’t have any strong opinions either way, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Columbina were much stronger than even Pierro.
But my theory, if this were to be the case, is that Columbina lost her ability of death and all that affiliated with her duty as the shade of death. How this could happen though, I’m uncertain.
Outside of that though, she could be cursed, sealed, or simply have lost a fraction of her powers permanently.

the description from wanderer seems more in line with that traveler with his on morals would find it hard to try to fight Columbina. potentially shes doing what shes doing due to some tragedy that has occured and which is potentially one that is super directly involved with primordial one. So far each harbinger has been shown to be a harbinger due to long past tragedy.
If we encountered Columbina I'm sure she'd interrupt our ability to talk to Paimon. Paimon to me feels like the "colors of emotion" within the "light of the traveler". She would be able to resonate with out feelings to the point of injecting her own feelings on top of her combat prowess.

Columbina I think is one of the shining shades of phanes cause if you think about in the god hierarchy of angels she would be a seraphim and she would be on the level of a archangel but I do not think she’s a seelie she’s to powerful to be one of those and I think she might be the shade of death

Maybe she's a shade, more concretely the shade of life. Since scaramouch is artificial life she would have to actually fight him rather than use her shade power of life to manipulate biologic beings. She might not be able to create life on her own -- since phanes needed her power to create life, maybe she also needs phanes to be able to give life. I say this because it's pretty obvious in Istaroth tales that shades while being all powerfull over some kind of world law (like life, death, time and space) they dont have authority over that law since they always work together woth Phanes when altering world laws (creating life, creating teyvat etc). Kinda like visions, people with visions can manipulate the elements but dont have authority over them. Maybe shades work like that, they can manipulate their "elements" but dont have authority. So Columbina could be the shade of life and that might let her control emotions/biologic beings, although creating life from 0 might be impossible without the "authority" to do so. Hence why scaramouche could put up a fight, meaning he would probably lose because she is a shade after all, but she would have to actually fight him. Maybe what Childe said to us is already her influence, making him think it's not even worth it to fight her. I think this is the case because tmof the meks she has with her. Maybe she like meks precisely because she can't influence them and their friendship/loyalty (we've seen sentient mekas, kinda) is important to her because of that.

in some mythology (im not sure which) angels can steal/suck out lifetime of humans, thats also the case in a manga called chainsaw man with the angel devil, which steals 8 minutes of ur life if u touch him for 1 second, maybee she is based on that, and it has no affect on sara cause he has no lifetime cause hes a puppet
She reminds me of Riful of the West, which would be terrifying for our heroes. One thing Claymore loved to do in the manga was put the most destructive forces in the most unexpected packages.

Scara says we should stay away because we have a heart-that is to say feelings, she’s presents as an innocent soul (wich for as a cellie in my opinion) so someone who like the traveler who feels for even their opponents she’s no easy feat, he doesn’t care about morals but still addresses her prowess in battle, child won’t fight her cause he doesn’t understand why she’s the 3rd harbinger because of her innocence. I think it’s this innocence that also keeps her in 3rd, she could be 1st but chooses not to upheave those who haven’t really done wrong, I don’t think she hates the archons only those who cursed the cellies, the archons have no say in what gos on in Rabat for the most part, I think 1st and 2nd have the power AND will to rival gods while the dove only aims to undo celestas wrongs
