People complained about this being bigger than Dinobots but I'm super happy the alt mode is in the correct scale and compatible with the deluxes. Maybe it's the Dinobots who should've been bigger than leader class.

I loved seeing how the can transforms. I was afraid it needed to be detached and reattached as part of the transformation. I’m glad to see it’s all one piece. No parts-forming!

The thing with his proportions, it's a combination of his shoulders being kind of wide, his head kind of small and his torso more rectangular than square, which renders his chest windows shorter than usual
Those small parts are scary it feels like if you break one you can't play with it anymore
Only too big when compared to the Dinobots and Menasor. The Dinos should be taller than Magnus, but not by much.
True, the Kingdom version scales way better
This is probably the first time a big figure that's supposed to be big is way too big for its own good, maybe if they went with the siege/kingdom scale it would've been a little better.
It wouldn’t be able to fit the cars in alt mode tbh

I stuck with the Combiner Wars Magnus because the Siege version was too small. This one will definitely be replacing that now as my new Ultra Magnus figure. To me it’s perfect!

Absolutely and there is nothing wrong with this being hollow. It’s done way better than the Masterpiece version. People have just been trying to claim he isn’t in comparison with the other commander cabs
@XsToyUniverse Nah, this is a good Commander. I'd put it just under the Armada Prime. But that could be some Armada bias on my part. That thing is amazing.
@3:27 Yep. Heck in the Japanese mini-series scramble city, wasn't he shown to be taller than Optimus? I think that engineering is amazing.
So I've got mech fan toys ultra Magnus, and this guy seems to have taken a lot of cues from that one. Thing is though, the mft one is very slim, and side by side to the animation model, looks as close to flawless as you can get.
I agree. It dispels the misunderstanding that a car carrier HAS to have massive proportions
I think people are way too obsessed with scale. As long as it’s in the reasonable ballpark it should be fine. The animation is so inconsistent with size/scale anyway.
In reality Sludge should be taller & bigger than all the Dinobots. Ultra Magnus included.
What about the Combiners? Stunticons/Menasor and Aerialbots/Superion? Does that scale work? No not really. The Scale is all over the place. So don’t worry so much about it.
Hasbro have been generally pretty good with the scale.
