I heard about this from previous premiere, and when I heard that mangled bit and another bunch references, my heart just can't take it. I actually clutch my heart when I hear it.
Also I can't help but realize, in the RE musical universe, this is Mike Afton and the new guard singing together. Aren't it just irony how the mangled bit makes it referencing matpat being captive but also the villain in RE. 😂

I love how this song is sung from the perspective of the characters.
Nate is William/Glitchtrap, and Charlie is Vanny/Vanessa.
The song is about how William is getting Vanny to reluctantly join his side. So when Charlie started singing the nostalgic line I'm backed revamped, it is revealing that Vanny has fully joined forces with William.
I love this song.

Nate and Charlie’s vocals are just amazing and this is just a masterpiece. I also love Nate and Charlie’s music so for them to do a collaboration was just P E R F E C T. I don't think we realize how much Nate had to study the lore for this song to be so lore accurate and still work without knowing a damn thing
Chills at the callback to Mangled. But also the dipping of the voice in the chorus is so pretty as well. CG5 and Nate's voices blend SO well together!
