For reference, the average bullet travels at 1600 mph. So if another driver shot a bullet at him, he'd literally leave the bullet in the dust

He go twice the speed away from the bullet as it tries to catch him, unitil the bullet stops down.

Actually, that's only possible if the other driver didn't drive. If he drove at the same speed, the bullet would hit as you need to add the ground speed to the bullet's speed. So if the archer travelled at 1600 kph, the (rifle) bullet would fly with stunning 3200 kph at the beginning. Which also means, it would simply fall to the ground if shot behind.
We all know Lewis would love to have this kind of straight line speed in real life.
