South canara special tradition called "ನವಾನ್ನ ಭೋಜನ" Earlier was celebrated during each household, but now it is missing. But temples still celebrating it to protect our divine culture. Here we show, how a daivasthana of Kedila villege of bantwal talluk celebrate newly grown rice meal during the occasion of Vijaya dashami. It has a bundle of positive vibes of serving lot of devotees at a holy place.

In tulu we call "koral padunu" . This is harvest festival. Every year when new paddy happens this is celebrated!! Olden days each house brought "koral" from their own fields. Now bringing from temple. First bring and keep near Tulsi. Then all family members pray near tulsi, head of the family carries it and walks inside the house. First enter God's room. Tie to God's room and daiva "mancha". Then tie each koral to each room, to everything you consider holy like where you keep money, your cattles etc. Then take 5 or 7 or 9 new paddy , feel the cover take out the rice, put in the payasa or rice that gets cooked for that day. Eat a delicious vegetarian meal of 5, 7 , 9 , 11 dishes!!😋
