I was in Middle School when this premiered. I remember wishing that I was one of those kids in that school that would come together to beat the bad guys. I loved it!
love this movie they don't make them like this anymore, will is mostly know for stand by me but this was his best
I was 7 when toy soldiers came out and remember loving the movie. It was one of my favorite movies when i was a kid. I thought it was such ( and still think) it was a unique movie. The acting, directing and writing was great. I remember as a kid daydreaming about putting myself in the main role when i was at school lol.
Absolutely loved this film.
Watched this movie as a kid ALL THE TIME. I related to that whole bad boy troublemaker type thing. All time favorite movie right here.

Read Roger Ebert's statement at 6:33. If he wasn't so absent-minded he would have remembered that the Dean told him to smash the device that they used to do it. Which means they were not able to tap into the phone line any more to communicate. Which is why he went through the drain pipe. That's why you don't trust critics kids.
Critics are biased. If it's a historical pic with someone like Daniel Day-Lewis, a foreign language film or some independent LGBTQ movie that maybe ten people have seen, they bash it.
Awesome movie! Well worth your time watching.

Great video. I remember my pops renting this movie thinking it was a war movie like Platoon and him saying What the fuck is this shit?😂In my case, I loved it and watched it numerous times during those years.
