Money is a precondition of success by your definition, not necessarily that of your followers. People distressed about their financial situation, right now, will be in the shitter worse if they take your definition of success literally. For their sake, I think you should state that success should live in ultimate satisfaction of personal achievements, mind, body, or soul; not something tangible that seems impossible to attain. If that fulfillment (ends) is met by somethings you buy with money (means), then it should be seen merely as a precondition to GET to happiness and success.

"Money" which constantly changes in value is based upon faith in the institutions which issue it, and given enough time, all fiat money will be debased and becomes worthless. Few people understand the role of money in the economy and are at the mercy of those who control the supply of these units. There are numerous examples of the failure of monetary systems based upon arbitrary values. One ounce of gold is now worth $1730 which in 1971 was worth only $35 an ounce. The decrease in the value of the US Dollar over this time period has been 50 times. Many people think that an inflated currency is good because it makes one feel wealthier, but that is a delusion. One must earn 50 times one's initial inventment just to retain the original value. Beware of letting the government determine one's values because one will come up short when one runs out of time and one needs income.
