Colts can keep him for 2 more seasons after this one. This is a contract year and they can franchise tag him for two more seasons after that. He apparantly can't pass a team physical. He's been limping around camp. He needs to comeback after he passes a physical and prove he can play. Who asks for a new contract extension while being hurt? The Colts are in total control of his future. He needs to fire that ignorant agent. He's gonna ruin his career.

He should fire his agent, but I stand by JT could EASILY start week 1. All of this is a horse and pony show
Only thing JT could do if he wants oh that bad is to retire. Then he will miss out on $4M this year and have to sit out another year which will only irreparably damage his playing career. Also, I’m pretty sure that the Colts would still own his rights if he were to return and the Colts would have to sign off his rights and be compensated. Overall this is just a bad look for JT and his agent. JT gambling his future failing to realize that “the house always wins”.

The way he was walking in that video is 100% a back injury. Ive had plenty of back pain from an injury and it makes it almost impossible to walk normal.

You are 100% correct, he doesn’t want to report any back issues considering if it wasn’t reported to the team and his back issues were a result of “non-football activities” Colts could put him on the NFI list which would really hurt JT.
Adding Taylor to the Dolphins would propel the Dolphins to one of the best teams in the league!
Dolphins aren’t giving up what the Colts would want in draft compensation AND Dolphins aren’t going to extend him for $15-$16M a year. It’s a media driven move that would make 0 sense for the Dolphins and the Colts.
@MikenMc I agree, it wouldn't be the smartest financial move. All I was saying was that the impact of adding JT on the Dolphins would propel them into the "best" AFC team discussion.

Not going anywhere ...this is all a lot about nothing. Irsay said NO... not happening, plus Fins are in the AFC ...that just makes no sence. Colts have him locked up. If he was going to get traded it will be an NFC team.

As someone who watched every single snap, you’re judging a team with changes at the 4 most important positions in football. Qb, LT,LB (getting an all pro back) and HC you can think I’m crazy all you want. This is MINIMUM an 8-9 team

Honestly I'd trade him for 2 2nd round picks & 1 3rd round pick & a player. Trade that player for 2 3rd round picks and either trade up those 3rd rounds for a higher draft pick, or use those picks to build around Anthony Richardson/defense. Get a newer healthier RB and some other key players to up the roster
