Ahh yeah the medicine cabinet, I would have snatched that up, it's the metal plaques on it that was so different and it looked oak. I really like your selection that you did buy, gramps in the garden pic is my fav!
So glad you made out good. I grew up with bears, deers hanging in our home as a kid. Family of hunters. My favorite item medicine cabinet.
You found the coolest things. Alllllll the $1 items had me gasping. The gold fans were my favorite and several of the frames too. 😊😊😊
Yes grandpa in the garden is my favorite item too. I love the Armada flea market but haven’t made it there yet this year so thanks for taking us along ❤
I grew up in a hunting and fishing family, so the taxidermy doesn't bother me at all. We ate a lot of venison, fish and so forth. I find it odd when people think it's odd. I personally didn't hunt but went along when I was a kid. Coming from a family of 6 in the 60's and 70's it was a common to hunt and fish as part of what we ate all year long to cut down on cost of food. We also grew big gardens for the same reason. A really lovely video thanks do much for taking us along. My parents at 86 still hunt with my brothers and extended family.🐩🐩🐩🐩🐩🐩
Those pictures are everything!
Medicine cabinet was great! Like the sled you got.
I did like the medicine cabinet, it's size and w/ the plaque attached, I think it would sell. Also liked the orange salvage. I've seen smaller antlers in fall vignettes on top of vintage books and would have tried for a good price on those. A little less daunting than deer heads for the wall. No thanks!!
I also saw a metal plant stand I would have grabbed. $1 tables looked fun!!
I am sooooo with you on the taxidermy! Being an animal lover, it's not something I enjoy seeing. That medicine cabinet was beautiful. Great haul of art that you were looking for.
I would definitely have gone for the chair with the curved arms at 11:24! It’s a statement piece.
Looked like a really good one! You did great on the wall art- I sell quite a bit too and always on the lookout for cool and fun ones. I love $1 tables!
Loved that medical cabinet. My favorites were the salvage pieces and grandpa in the garden - beautiful frame. In this area of the South, there is a punk flea market who travels every weekend to different sites. I am after baby ducks. The woman sources dead ducklings who died while hatching. Others have insects, butterflies and lizards. We have to be careful here in South Carolina. There are strict rules about selling taxidermy.
Great narration. Fun finds.
Fun finds…so worth the trip❤️
My favorite item the medicine cabinet and the short table.
Awesome haul!!!!😊
So many really great items you came home with. My most favorite, by far, is the woman/canoe print. Per google - it's a Zulu Kenyon litho print. It's absolutely beautiful - I can see why you decided to keep it. Yes, the medical cabinet was really, really nice. Taxidermy items would creep me out but the resin antlers were actually cool.
I love the gold fan! 🩷
Fun video! Thanks for taking us along 🩷🙌
Glad you enjoyed!
Love a dollar table. I picked up some dog figurines. They sell well for me.
I can't deal with taxidermy, I am too much of an animal lover. You did get some really cool art. I do well at my space with small art ,I have a wall space with shelving so its not really a booth but it works for me and its affordable. Happy sourcing
If you are buying taxidermy, check them very well for insects. If they are not done correctly, they can be infested! Check the fur and the areas where they have been stitched. Make sure the forms are in good shape also. If they have been exposed to high humidity or extreme outdoor conditions, that can cause a lot of damage.
Thank you!
Loved your video👍👍🙋🏽♀🙋🏽♀thanks for sharing😏
Thanks for watching!
I agree. Grandpa in his garden is my favorite as well. I want to get up the nerve to do taxidermy as too. I see the bucks and does at auctions, but my mom and hubby always say, "No!" So... I pass.
Hey, I watched again and I would have bought the yellow metal chair and the red scale. Well, depending on price! I did love the barbed wire display board and sled! The black table should have come home with you, perfect for fall/Halloween displays!! I used a black bookcase last year. Did nothing to it and it sold right away.
Oh I loved those vintage lights, they would be perfect for your headboard!! And mismatched ok I think.
Surprised you didn't buy a plant or flowers for your garden!! I liked the $1 floral print, too. I spotted 2 melmac type bowls Rachel Ray calls "garbage bowls". Those sell for me. Thanks for sharing your fun shopping day!!❤
You have a good eye. Thanks for watching!
When I first met my now husband he had built his house as a bachelor. The only thing he had hanging on any wall in the whole house was a deer head 🤦🏻♀️ He didn’t even toilet paper holders on the walls but he had a deer head!! 🤣
Ahhhhh, the what is it item:.....it's the part of a winch for a sailboat. All of the innards are missing, the part you saw is the part that attaches to the deck of the boat....Btw, what a very cool flea market, thank you for taking us along. I do need to address the possible need for a sweatshirt in mid-July. As I write this it is 6:48 PM and it is 86F (in the shade) here in good ole, but very hot, Texas
@@lynnpelletier4321 Thank you. It was a rare morning in Michigan…
I liked all your pictures especially the landscape with the orange trees.
Grandpa was my favorite! Wish I had a flea market like that near me!
Beautiful pictures. The little yellow vase is my favorite.
Thanks for the field trip! I think I spied uranium glass. Love the bracelets. Have a blessed weekend! xoxo
Loved your haul....great filming...don't go to markets that sell animals..makes me depressed. You got great presence and don't waste time saying hello to each person tuning in...HATE THAT! YES THERE WILL ALWAYS BE THINGS WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN AND IT WE ILL STAY WITH US BUT MORE TREASURES ARE ALWAYS AROUND THE CORNER!
I do some taxidermy but stick to butterflies, beetles, scorpions, spiders. I could never do deer or bunnies!
I think I will be doing the same.
My husband and I did taxidermy and we have tons of horns from doing taxidermy.
It’s hot in Florida to hot
I can’t bring myself to do taxidermy either they gross me right out
Glad I am not alone.
I love flea market but some of the price is ridiculous
Do you really buy and resell as is? Or do you do repairs, paint, repurpose first?
Sometimes resell as is...sometimes repair, sometimes paint...depends on the item.
Thanks! New to your channel, and enjoying
