I remember when I heard this the first time then waiting patiently to hear it on the radio so I could make a mix tape. It reminds me of a day where we didn’t know how corrupt the world is and kids could play outside safely
I say the same thing for all of their covers! They are all hugely talented.
When I was jamming to this in 1982/1983, I could not get it loud enough in the car. My trusty Pioneer amp and 6x9 Jensens were not enough!

@@JustChiminin That's what I like about HSCC - even though they have the musical chops to really run with the songs, they honor and respect the original versions to not really change them much at all. Gives us lucky listeners the opportunity to hear some old favorites and classics performed live in the ways we remembered them.

And remember, Alan Parsons was the recording engineer for Pink Floyd's Dark Sky of the Moon! Everyone - and I mean everyone - is outstanding here, including Jordan's recording and Pete Savad's great mix. The sounds, the atmospheres are spot on. Well done, y'all. Pedal to the mettle song this one. What do I mean by that? Well it's one of my favourite tunes that I've Listened to countless times. When it would come across on the radio, and if traffic was sparse and no cops in sight, I'd floor it in my car for a few brief seconds. Great job HSCC, your musical time machine takes me back.

I can’t put my finger on exactly why, but I have always loved this song. I find myself occasionally singing that hook chorus to myself out of the blue. This rendition is just absolutely perfect. Danny’s voice is just amazing. The more I watch this video, the more I appreciate the camera work. There is enough camera movement to make it more interesting, but not so much to make it distracting. That is easier said than done. Great job one and all.
