Looks like an interesting game, but way too micromanagement for me anyway.
The crew (micro)management reminds me a bit of managing tanks in Command & Conquer when you had to send them to the repair bay when their damage was increasing. I dare say there are hints of RTS here?
No.. the boxes weren't respawning....
