It's crazy how just in the first few seconds of hearing the cars' motors I could smell that particular tire sent for a fraction of a second, and in that final scene remember how hot those flames felt on my face. I miss this show, this is what Hollywood Studios was to me: a place where movie magic happened right before my eyes.
Dreaming True I remember that exact smell. Hearing the whine of the engines was something else here but to able to travel back in time and smell that smell again would be something else.
I literally cried after watching this, since I used to go to this one attraction in Paris almost every time I went there
I was there that whole day. The second to last show had everyone going a little faster than normal (side not accidently sat with crew families and it was amazing). Then after the show it poured. Everybody was standing outside the attraction hoping they were not going to cancel it. Then it cleared for a perfect last show.

Yet another great show fades into the annals of theme park history; this one at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida. Thanks to all who worked tirelessly on this show throughout it's time... this is what I call entertainment. Theme parks around the US... please take note, 3D isn't all it is cracked up to be; "Ain't nothing like the real thing baby!"
stot2614 ooh how wrong you were 😐
CZcams Account why?
3d is BAE 🌎🌱💗😬💃🎶👀💯👌
It all comes down to the $’s. A 3D show may cost more to create but the operation is probably far less than this type of live show. I agree that the live show is better but it’s still a business.
They had the same thing in Paris and because that is closer to me it hurts me more that the one in paris is closed but the show was pretty much identical
I absolutely miss this show but I love how it is immortalized by this and many other videos. I also love how wholesome it is every time the crowd cheers after each scene and every time a stunt performer is introduced.
I remember going to this when I was little. They used to have herbie
JellyBeanTI glad to see someone else remembers Herbie being apart of the show
I remember when Herbie split
XeX bro childhood memories. I want to build a replica of one of the cars just to have the memories
the little blue car right?
Oh my gosh!! I remember wow, that was awesome!
It must've been chilling to see the entire cast to appear after that final sequence. RIP to a great show.
I came back to the park after 9 years and was devastated to see it was gone... I will forever remember the memories and the joy it brought to me as a 4 year old at that time
We'll miss you "Lights, Motors, Action" :'(
+Jennifer Ng Yeah it was sad seeing it i was there at the place for this
Its still in France, Disneyland Paris tough.
You know, not everyone has the finances to plan a trip to Paris for a show.
Jennifer Ng 😢
Not me. The show was awful.
Three years later and finding out one of my favorite show is gone forever.... Truly this was the best show in hollywood studios Disney. I'm going to miss it.
100% agree
VenezuelanChic96 its in Paris though now
Disneyland Paris still has this show ( for now)
@@garfieldt i thought this was the show in Paris
same
Can’t believe this isn’t there no more, it was my favourite thing about Disney
not enought. if that not make profit why do it. or disney way if not do ALOT not do it
This was a GREAT show. So glad we got to see it before it closed.
I'm excited for galaxy's edge, but god do i miss this show. And damned if i don't get teary eyed watching that end monologue
rct3isepic the whole video you can just see how much every cast member loved doing thit show and the chemistry they all had
There one in France that will stay!
We have the same show in france 😘
Go Tierepp you have the original in France. However with Rock n Roller Coaster switching I think it’s days are numbered
@D you do know there's like 2 rides in Galaxy's Edge right? And one is considered to be the greatest ride Disney has Ever Made
See, now I do that with MY car, it's reckless driving and I have to get a breathalyzer test.
I wish I could like this more tbh
This show is what lives up to the theme of Disney Hollywood Studios. Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land do not, but you can’t stop Disney from trying to make more money.
True, I don't like how theme parks are just turning into "IP land". Hollywood Studios should not be called Hollywood Studios in the next little bit.
They went hard asf in this last show. That moment at 5:35 was tighttttttt
Part of a dying breed of unlicensed theme park attractions.
I always had the impression that this attraction was developed around the James Bond character but that Disney, ultimately, did not secure the license.
@@mattk.3645 Maybe, but this was when the parks were just good enough to sell themselves. They were fun, lively, full of education. Now they're just there to shove IP and sales down your face.
Man, I miss this show so much. This is what made me fall in love with cars. Back when I was a kid, everytime me and my family would go to Disney we would come and watch this show. When I heard that they were closing it to make way for galaxies edge, I was so sad. I'm a racecar driver competing in pro late model and spec miata races throughput the South East. It was my dream ever since I was a little kid to be one of those stunt drivers pulling those crazy stunts. Like they say, all good things must come to and end, and she unfortunately met that fate earlier than we wanted. This show brought many good times, and I'm thankful for all of the men and women who made it possible.
At 25:53
The boy: ''I'm really driving it omg 😲''
*get played 5 seconds later*
10 seconds later. Here's a badge for controlling the car by remote.
33:00 When it's your last show so you go out in style!
They got rid of this but still have, “it’s a small world” let that sink in
it's a small world is phase 1, of disney brainwashing kids. it's hypnotic vibes are going nowhere.
It’s a small world has been here since opening day in both parks. If they ever closed them down people would mob down Mainstreet with pitchforks and Molotov cocktails
its a small world classic af. thats like saying u want the to take down the haunted mansion
I mean, yes?? I grew up with Lights Motors Action, and it was one of my favorite shows at the parks, but It's a Small World was an opening park attraction at both parks, and is undeniably a timeless classic.
Ah yes, there is no reason why they would remove a relatively unpopular and quite expensive stunt show and yet somehow choose to keep a massively popular iconic attraction that has been in its park since 1971. It really is crazy.
This actually makes me really sad. I remember going to disney world when i was five (in 2007) when i saw this show and me and my cousin jacob loved it. it was by far the highlight of my trip and when we went back me and him played “lights motors action” all summer long! Sad to see it go!
I caught the second to last show this day. I had no idea it was closing but I was happy to see it before it closed. It's a shame it's closed now because I really enjoyed this show.
I love this show so much I have been going to see this show for the past 5 years this was the show I looked forward to during the entire trip. I know that a lot of Disneys fans like myself will miss this show dearly.
I miss it I want it back 😊
The most exhilarating show I've ever seen! It was AMAZING! I wish Disney could find a way to keep this show some how. Really sad to see it's gone.
This show also had Herbie and Lightning McQueen too! And, and they had the red car controlled by the person sitting on the side of the car while the kids on stage is doing the remote control. Oh how I wanted to get a pin for it that time! And for Night of Joy concert, Casting Crowns was here. Loved them so much!
As attractions go, this one was short lived. When I visited Walt Disney World this was just about to open, but now it's gone.
You know when you have dedicated people, when they choke up when they're saying their goodbye's
Bad shows
Disney : keep em
Good shows
Disney : get rid of em
I loved that show . I went there when I was 5 years old. It was probably the best action I ever saw
i was there for this last show, and man can i say that was freakin amazing.
Man, seeing the emotion at the end really shows just how much they care. Shame I never got to see this, looked amazing!
I miss this show so much. Was a thriller to watch growing up
Man that show was my freaking childhood... i really miss it
This show was a MUST during each visit. I'm sitting here typing this with misty eyes and a lumpy throat. I guess you really don't know what you've got 'till it's gone. Big mistake Disney. This and 'Alien Encounter' were among your best offerings. Thank you to everyone involved with the Lights, Motor, Action production. Forever remembered and in our hearts.
They went out with a bang
No way, I actully watched this like 10 years ago thank you for making me remember this wonderful moment !
Incredible memories thanks to those guys ❤️
Damn do I miss this show. I remember being so excited to go to HS and see this, I’d always be so bummed if I never got to see it. LMA was definitely my favorite attraction at the park, the actions and memories it gave me were amazing and it’s sad to see it go.
This is great! I always wanted to see this, but never got a chance to before they closed for good. Thanks so much for capturing the last performance!
This is how I want all my childhood memories to go out
With large explosions
I literally cried after watching this, I used to go there every single day I went to Disney :(
Used to love taking my son here. Thanks for the memories
saw this when i was 10 and my god it was the coolest thing ever coming back 7 years later and its still really cool to watch
This was my favorite show as a kid I went back a couple months after this and I was looking for this clueless that it shut down I missed it by a couple months
I’ve only ever been to Disneyland once (hard to go frequently when you’re not from the country) but this show was my highlight of the whole time I was there. SO much fun, and I was really sad to hear it’s now gone. I understand that the Star Wars stuff is apparently good too, but I’m just sad that if I ever get the chance to go back, I’ll never get to see this spectacular show again 😞
I'm glad I got to see this show twice in 2010. Even got a trading pin in my collection too.
OMG, I remember I was there! Cannot believe it was their final performance!
This was the coolest thing ever
That has to be the most fun job on planet earth. Definitely depressing that this is the end of an incredibly unique and skillful show.
I saw this twice and it was amazing! When I went in the beginning of August of this year, they were gone and I was disappointed.
I like the way everyone gives them a standing ovation
I remember this show when I was a kid.. well a younger kid (I'm still a kid) and I never knew it closed until now. I loved that show :(.
Bring this back
I loved this show when it was there
Gonna miss this ... the great movie ride and other mgm attractions. Such a huge part. Of my childhood
that is so awesome i love lights motors action its sad that its done with but i got to see it and im really happy i did
There's a lot of standing ovations in this last show.
Best show in disney. Great job!
I’m going to miss that. One good thing at least we got videos to look back on it
I went this year 2018 and this show is still on!!
these live action stunt stuff in universal and disney are some of the best things its so good
Just a couple years ago during my senior year high school trip, I remember running around the park looking for this attraction only to be hit with the news that it was gone.
I am so glad that I got to see this in its final year.
Love this atraction!
I would love to see how these cars where made / upgraded. That red car looks to have a vw front bumper and other parts
It has the front bumper and rear exhaust from an Opel Speedster, the rest of the car was custom built. The original "Moteurs… Action!" at Disneyland Paris was sponsored by GM. That's also why the chase cars have Opel Corsa bodies over a custom chassis. All of them were powered by Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle engines with a custom sequential transmission.
I seen it when i was 10 and also when I was 19. I could not believe it when they close it. I would had love to go see it again with friend but it will never happen. It was nice to see all the cast and it is one of those joyful moment that kinda make you sad.
This show is one of my only memories from the first time I went to Disney. Every time I've been there (minus the most recent), my family and I have gone to see this show. I know it just a show, at a theme park, but regardless, I was disappointed to see it go. All good things must come and go, and it was time for this good thing to go
I use to watch this show every time it perform. 😢 good old times
this makes me so sad I remember seeing this show when I was 8 the first and only time I went to Disney. RIP to a great show
Uhhhh the memories we used to go to Disney every year and go watch the car stunts
This is so nostalgic, I remember watching it when I was about six.
I watched it too when I was 6 in 12'
I’d been there before but I was a little kid back then and it was a cool show I’d loved how they showed lighting McQueen and Mater in that show it was so fun I’d would love to see it again
I remember seeing this when I was 7, this was fantastic!
i was always impressed at how orderly disney could fill and empty those stands
One of my favorite attractions as a kid
This was cooler then galaxies edge will ever be. This and the backlot tour is what I always will think of when I think about Hollywood studios.
Thanks for the video, I never got a chance to see this live.
Super super professional work! Congrats to all the people involved!
I wish I could have seen this in person! This show is epic.
I’ve only seen the show once irl, and I’m still sad that it’s gone.
Unfortunately I never got to see this show. Wish I had. Thanks for showing their last show.
Same here
It's still operational at Disneyland Paris :)
But it's more far away i suppose x)
I did when I was 8 😭
légèrement emouvant !!! j'ai eu les larmes aux yeux les 10 dernières minutes !!!!!
camille abate that's what I was thinkin
I was one of the last people to volunteer and I wore a Universal cap 😂
truly a great show
amazing stunts.i was mesmerized.great job.
Incredible show!!!
I remember going to Disney and then I realized that it wasn’t there anymore😪
THANKS for this awesome video who record and share!
Classic stunt show 🙌

I saw this show twice last week at Disneyland Paris. It's nearly identical to this video. great show.
Saw it 4 times and just as good as the 1st
it's truly amazing to see the show in person, while most stunts we see on movies nowadays are mostly cgi.
I'm glad I managed to see this, sadly I was very young and don't remember a thing.
I had to come watch this because my supervisor used to do this and I wanted to see if I could find her and sure enough I did
AMAZING SHOW
I went Disney many times before I had children, and when I did have my first son I wanted to bring him to come see this but it was gone by the time he was old enough, I was disappointed but it is what it is.
I remember watching this when I was like 7 and they announced the release of Split Second. Only OGs remember that game
Haven’t watched it yet but, *sigh* this is going to be emotional
