Hi there Will. Thankyou so much for the video. It keeps our history alive! Documenting our history is so important for future generations for the area, the country as a whole. This Chapel is absolutely beautiful. It is a great shame that the rest of the hospital didn't survive after a very serious & extensive fire back in1962 Then the hospital's sad demise in having to be demolished in1966😢 The architecture is incredibly awesome, magnificent and stunning. The Chapel has (or still Is?) been beautifully restored to its former glory. I'm very much hoping to go down to visit the Chapel with my daughter&Son(iL); Grandchildren one day. My Son-(iL) comes from Southampton. It doesn't seem possible that this hospital had a 1,000 patients with 133 wards!!!! I wonder what Florence Nightigale would make of our hospitals today??!!!!
