Yeh he's such a straight up guy, legend. I'm from Scotland but seeing slipknot in Brazil would be insane. The energy the buzz the excitement man ima start saving haha. ✌🏼 And I'm sure Bolivia and any other south America countries be special also 🏴
Solid drummer but there’s a lot to unpack. I would say with metal…… it’s tough. A lot of drummers are good at different things. Lord Marco is crazy good. George Kolias is awesome. El Estapario is fuckin nuts. Dan Carle of After the burial is a beast with time signatures. It’s hard for me to single only 1 to be the best.
I'm generally very critical with musicians after growing up in a musician home. I did not know Eloy's work and have always loved Joey. With that being said, I don't think there's anyone in the entire world made to play with Slipknot better than Eloy Casagrande. His Brazilian influence has only added to what was already amazing. I can't wait to hear new music.
Eloy is definitely the perfect percussionist for Slipknot.He is BADASS. Probably one of the Best metal drummers in the world.Eloy has made Slipknot so much better can't wait to they come to town
Not to take anything away from Jay, Chapter .5 is one of my favourite albums and I love his contribution there. However with Eloy now, I’m hoping that he inspires the entire band to bring their A-game. We all know Slipknot can be the Kings of metal, time to take the crown back boys. I’ll see you in Toronto in August

I remember several characters in fictional films when comparing the playing style between Joey's and Eloy's vibes joey = Joker (head ledger) eloy = Jason Voorhees they are both killer, but different styles. Joker kills with cunning while Jason kills brutally joey playing fast and clean with attractive performance making the audience really enjoy the flow of the concert with full expression, and eloy playing fast and clean with constantly full power makes the listener full of exciting tension.
The way he's concern and always bring Joey's legacy up warms my heart. Thank you Eloy!
