The one true Shredder. No alien or ninja-magic crap to cheapen him, just one evil man able to command respect from an entire room by simply walking into it, and is still capable enough on his own strength to fight four opponents with barely a single scratch. Even the way he went out is powerful. Just like Raph was warned about in the film's beginning, he let his anger blind him upon recognizing Splinter and it resulted in his death.

The intro when Shredder walks out for the first time, his intimidating silhouette, then the 2nd part which is just kind of menacing and mysterious used in the intro of the movie and a number of other scenes, then the epic battle music from the apartment and final battle. what an amazing soundtrack for the villain the shredder
Original tmnt 1990 was awesome. It was dark, not afraid to go to distance and push the boundaries. Stupid movie makers just had to pussify the two sequels.
they catered to just children when this movie caters to children and adults who would have to bring their kids to see this or followed the comics themselves and could find the movie tells an amazing sotyr about an uncannny proganists group of mutatated nija tutles. . TMNT Bay versions were just Transformers with Turtles.
yeah.. if you watch some of the behind the scenes they talk about the HUGE backlash they got from the first one from "concerned mothers" and watered down the violence in the sequel.. we don't talk about the third one as that was just a cheap cash grab.
this song is fire man. So much nostalgia
"You are here because the outside world rejects you."
street atmosphere.. REAL STREET FIGHTING.. imagine grafities on the wall.. garbage on the sideways.. dark halloways... awwwyeah.. this is real street fight feeling.. i had a great childhood .. when THIS KIND OF APPEREANCES MADE YOU BELIVE THAT THIS WAS REAL..
street fighter mortal kombat tmnt.. THOSE EPIC TIMES!!
I'm 40 now. I have the original vinyl movie soundtrack. Don't seen the new age meatbag CGI TMNT movies. Kids, please; this is an old handmade costume suits, a real villain who wants to kill the four turtles with hand weapons. This is the real TMNT, little babies.
The Shredder and his Foot Clan seemed so real in this movie. They were basically a cult exploiting disaffected youth, it was such a plausible premise.
Still the best live action shredder we've had yet.
"Now you face...the SHREDDER."
Shredder has the coolest FACE MASK of all TIME
I still get chills watching this movie. The best tmnt movie of all time. Part 2 is a close second, still can't touch the first.
This is your family I am your father ...Epic
Epic music that sends chills down my spine james salito was the best shedder by far.
Saito*
'So, we meet again Hamato Yoshi. It is time for out final confrontation.'
'Hamato Yoshi is no more. There is only Splinter.'
'And soon he shall be dead as well!'
When I first saw him come on the scene...I knew he wasn't anything to mess with
Underrated film on many levels
Imagine someone making this their song to walkout to before an MMA fight. Would be epic
I finally pre-ordered the CD soundtrack from Waxwork records. Cant wait to listen to it. Its long overdue.
this song be playing when my groomsmen comes out during my wedding watch.
Never forgot the thump those drums had and the scary vibe they gave off since I was a kid
Something about the way you described their fighting style, something familar, something from the past
This gave me the chills
Shredder: You fight well in the old style but you have caused me enough trouble, Now you face the Shredder!
this muvie has one of the best villan soundtracks ever!
This soundtrack is so underrated, still chills from this 32 years later
All I hear is nostalgia 😍😩👌🏾
Best theme ever. Totally BADASS!!!
An Alpha male from 30+ years ago: a complete disregard for his 4 opponents, an untouchable arrogance after initially defeating them...but, pride before a downfall as he underestimates Splinter. Remember, good sirs/madams, that any human loses a fight without foresight.
those epic times.. when shredder whas an this man with autorithy.. japanese drumms..
no dubstep remix no rap no shit.. just good old japanese drums.. this was really good choosen .. background story.. supporting the japanese origins from oroku saki wich killed hamato yoshi...
(talking about the movie not the comic)
this was and still is very awesome.. suspense and "shit in your pants" music.... 80-90 when ninjas were totaly "IN" everyone wanted to learn martial arts..
1 minute, 50 seconds. That's where the nostalgia really hits.
No fancy Iron Man armour, no alien origins, no rhino/warthog henchmen, yet this motherfucker is still the scariest live action Ninja Turtles villain to date and his theme fits perfectly
"Death comes for us all, Oroku Saki.. but something much worse comes for you, for when you die it will be.... without honour" - Master Splinter
2:34 shit gets real
Money cannot buy the honor which you have earned tonight. You make us all proud. Only effort, discipline, loyalty, earn the right to wear the dragon doge! You are here because the outside world rejects you! This is your family! I am your father! I want you all to become full members of the Foot. There is a new enemy; freaks of nature who interfere in our business! You are my eyes and ears, find them! Together we can punish these...creatures! These...turtles!
I'm 34 and still say the best entered
I remembered this movie having epic music.
But this exceeded my expectations.
Thanks for sharing!
Everything about this movie is underrated. It will forever be the definitive TMNT movie.
Best soundtrack ever.. ...
This tune is fire.
Hearing this again brings me back when I was 10 in 1990.
