@Charles Case In short, think a cross between a video game and a choose your own adventure book, but far more open ended.
You create a character and can control their actions in a world created by a game master, the arbiter of the story.
You can do anything that is reasonably possible within this game, as the results of these actions are determined by your game master and/or dice rolls. It's super cool.

I noticed that we share a little dialect - you and I in Louisiana. We often do not accentuate -or and -ar. Simply put, it is common to say controllah for controller, elevatah for elevator, etc. I had a coworker (in another state) who laughed hysterically when I added, "yeah" or "no" at the end of a sentence to add emphasizes that the preceding statement was either something that can or can not be done. We shared a good laugh, yeah. Haha. Glad to have discovered your channel. . first time I subscribe to any channel. Thanks for sharing and teaching patwah.

Jamaican Creole, Sierra Leon Krio, Nigerian pidgin have similarities to the English Creole Gullah. The word 'be" is used in place of is. In Gullah spoken by a small group of black Americans they say "we" instead of us.

Since English modernize the Jamaican language so much it's hard for us to speak the raw tongue of our ancestors . Which is more of the patwa language than how we speak it today.

I've made several visits to Suriname and can't wait to go back. I also noticed a lot of similarities between the patois and taki taki. This was especially true in Maroon communities closer to Albina. Suriname is very special. The people are cool and the food is amazing.
