2018 KTM Duke 690 - Leovince Exhaust + Decat vs Stock

  • Quick video to show the difference between the stock exhaust and the Leovince muffler + decat on my Duke. The mic might have been a tad too close to the exhaust and struggled to fully capture the sound of the Leovince exhaust. DB-killer is still on, the bike is plenty loud as is and sounds just how this engine should.

    The meter look so cool is it KTM meter brand or 3rd party? if 3rd party may I know which brand is it? Thank you

      It is the KTM original meter that comes with the bike

    I have a Leo vince slip on on my 2018 Duke and I’m looking to get the decat midpipe for it too. You didn’t have to remap or reset the idle or anything? Just hang it, bolt it and go?

      I live in the States btw so noise is no factor here lmao we can be as loud as we want I just want to make sure I’m not gonna get a check engine light or have too lean of an idle

      @@endurologic8683 I haven't remapped the ECU and the bike runs great, no problem at all. I did do an idle reset for the sake of it but I don't think it would've changed anythign if I hadn't. I plan on getting the DNA Stage 1&2 air filters, after which I will get the Akra map loaded up or it will probably run a bit too lean.
      Go get the decat, the bike sounds so much better with it and personally I found that it ran smoother at low rpms, much less jerky.

    this is a 2018 Duke 690? Sounds like a Euro 3 version tbh (2015 or older)

      Yep 2018. Check out my other video where I'm riding it, it sounds "truer"

      Hi, it is recommended to remap the bike with the full exhaust although I hadn't done it initially and it ran just fine. A year after doing the full exhaust I decided to open up the air box so then I had to remap it

      Not sure about Germany, but I assume it's more or less the same as France. The slip-on is legal, the decat is not
