I had to fast forward here and there to make this episode watchable...
Ya all season I would say the pacing was way too fast and then for what ever reason they made this episode the one where they are going to take their time lol
Same here
Exactly never done for any show but I couldn’t waste my time watching at 1x
You are addicted to tiktok then
Funny that people hated this episode the most while it has been the most book accurate episode in season 3😅...
Truuuu, it’s crazy that they were like this is the chapter we’re actually going to adapt fully this is what people want to see Ciri walking through the desert lol
@@JellyJugz Yeah, wish they had a thought like that about Rats sequence and made the desert one shorter. Would be muuuuch better!
If they followed the books 1:1 I bet people wouldnt like it, frankly the story is very slow this story is one of the more interesting ones
One of my favourite parts of the books. Despite there being some key missed points I loved this episode
I am reallllly trying to enjoy these last episodes but hot damnnnn. Talk about blowing a golden opportunity ugh.
Well from what I’ve read on twitter the show runners said this was the iconic moment from the books Ciri meeting the unicorn but in my mind thanned island was suppose to be the big moment of the season and it was fine but I’d rather have seen 3 episode of that than Ciri travels in the desert lol
I didn’t get to watch this yet but before I do I’ll leave my honest assessment.
I May be in the minority but I loved this episode.
I thought Freya Allan’s acting was excellent. The little woman can act her ass off.
She sold me that she was suffering and badass.
I could’ve watched another episode of it tbh.
Ah yes, the filler episode in a long 8 episode season.
Two scenarios:
1.) unicorn is dying, ciri taps into fire magic to save it’s life, unicorn runs away. bad ciri!
2.) ciri refuses fire magic, unicorn dies. bad ciri!
Whats the correct choice? Is there a way to keep her unicorn friend?
Consequence from scenario 2, ciri can now eat unicorn steak after starving in the desert for days.
Consequence from scenario 1, ciri now has acquired fire magic skill/healing spell. But is still hungry.
Which scenario do you choose?
So in the books after Ciri decides to relinquish the power she passes out then a whole gaggle of unicorns go up to Ciri and discuss whether they should kill her or not since she is so powerful they decide not cause she didn’t harness fire magic for personal gain but to save someone
And I think unicorn steaks would serve you better since unicorn is gonna run off anyways
@@JellyJugzi like the message in the books better, having enormous power doesn’t automatically mean evil, it depends on how it’s used. Too bad that shows and movies don’t show virtuous behavior like books do. I think that’s the audience that needs to be shown such actions the most. No wonder why society is rotting away… 😂
This episode is so out of place its ridiculous 😅
I haven't read the books. I've watched other Witcher content. I like the character...alot. My issue is that Season 2/3, there is no Geralt. They lost me because I am watching "THE WITCHER" to learn more about him and how he sees the world. However, now I am watching some soap opera about feminine men and masculine women. Geralt, to me, is the only real man in the show that I can relate to. And I never see him or what he can really do. Instead, I get to see Ciri and others. OK...but come on, Geralt is why I am watching this series. I do enjoy Yennifer and Ciri... but they completely forgot who the audience is, IMO. And let's not get into the bad editing/progression from scene to scene.
Fair criticisms Geralt seems to be a secondary character in his own show
There is literally plenty of Geralt wtf are you talking about 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@docgraal485 Enjoy. You're the only one who likes a bad show lol
@@MrWillhnic nah there are thousands other who like the show, we just don't feel so entitled to nitpick every subpar detail. And you can't say that is a bad show as if that is an objective statement
@docgraal485 bruh... enjoy it and be quiet then. There is a reason Henry left. I am glad you watch, so respect others opinions and stop being butt hurt we don't agree.
This episode was dragged and boring
Ya I don’t understand why they decided to make this episode the slow one lol
Lol it wasn't boring. 😂 I thought it was actually true to the books.
It wasn’t boring. You just have a terrible attention span
No wonder theres a writer strick, who would get paid for this?
