Most people don't know how big Alaska really is. It is more than twice the size of Texas. That plus the weather makes it a very large and wild place. It's hard to find a needle in a haystack.
The island of the dolls.... The little girl was his daughter who drowned in that spot while his wife was watching her as she did laundry. they say her body was never found. the dolls were gifts for her to show his love for her. he took her death really bad and was never the same. he chose to die in the same spot as his daughter because he wanted to see her right away in the after life... people are allowed to visit but must never disturb any of the dolls or else an evil curse will fall on them.. i only know of two accidents after dolls being stolen one which killed a bus load of students and a second a car with 4 high school students.,,

I think the current theory on #9 is something along the lines of a meteor that had some large gas pocket in it like hydrogen or methane, and upon burning up in the atmosphere enough of a small hole reached the gas to ignite it and detonate the meteor before impact.
