    I’m always excited to check out your new videos when they’re posted. They help me tweak my methods for the better! Something that works for me when I create an aggressive burr on a scissors I’ll do my 1st deburring with a 600 stone or I have a small rectangular ceramic stone. 1000 is sometimes not effective and fast enough. If the burr is still lingering at the completion of the sharpening process and the blades are too stiff (especially on something that doesn’t come apart) I’ll then swipe the blades on a buffer with a cloth wheel and light compound. This is fast and very effective.

    Thank you, Cody. Keep up the awesome videos! It is very enjoyable to learn from you and every video is most helpful. From much thought on which systems to choose from here in the UK, yourself and the useful information on all things plus the guidance with your systems, have very much swayed me to what I think to be the most professional system out there with kind professional people backing it. Thank you and for that, I am purchasing an Apex. Good day, Sir! (The quiet and calmness in your videos, is the best and helpful for learning)

    Benchmade Griptilian 551-1. Inconsistent bevel grinds from their Life Sharp service, possibly a belly bevel widening (belly to tip) fix video from my called in question for the Edge Pro Apex.

    I have a question; it appears the poultry shears have a curved blade. Wouldn’t that deform your flat stone and require flattening the stone after the sharpening is finished?

    • @EdgePro
      @EdgePro  Před rokem +1

      The arm free floats inside the pivot so the stone will follow the shape of the blade. But yes the flat cutting surface of the stone will concentrate more wear in the center of the stone than the sides (especially on a curved blade like this) and will wear faster. It may require flattening afterwards but that is the nature of water stones, they all require some level of maintenance.
