  • The showdown between Alastin A-Luminate and the Skinbetter Science Even Tone. Which do you like better?
    A-Luminate Video: • New non-hydroquinone A...
Pigmentation is challenging to treat and hydroquinone is the gold standard. In this video I explain why I think the new Alastin A Laminate Brightening Serum is better than hydroquinone and it's hydroquinone free! It combats hyperpigmentation whether its due to sun damage, melasma, age spots, sallow skin, and also improves redness

I’ve been using the SkinBetterScience line, but having trouble discerning what is best for me at my age. Less is more - sticking with cleansing, treatment, moisturizer and SPF. I have a tendency to stick with a particular line because I don’t want interactions that may not be intended. The fact that I have combination skin makes it even more challenging. Based on today’s video, I’d be inclined to try Even Tone.

Thank you! I was thinking of trying Skinbetter, but after this I think I will stick with Alastin. This will be my second bottle of A-Luminate. I thought it would make me brighter, but not yet. Sometimes things take a bit longer so I will see. I am 60 and SO FAR I am impressed with Alastin.

Although I do feel as though Even Tone was more talked about in this video I have rewatched twice. I see the clinical studies from Even Tone but not Aluminate. I have personally used Even Tone twice with no visble improvement and I am fitz 5-6 so now that I have access to Alastin I am going to try Aluminate.

Thank you for your videos. I am now fully on Skinbetter - starting with facewashes finishing with alpha ret. And i am so happy thanks to your videos i found this brand, which is not even possible to get easily in Europe and costs a lit. Only missing now Mystro which i am waiting here in Europe. Doctor, any face mask you could recommend - is there any need in face mask?

I recently purchased the Alastin A-luminate, and the Skinbetter Alto Advanced defense and repair but I’ve been confused on when and in what order to use them both since they’re both claimed to increase brightness. Can they be used together or should I alternate days??
I also got the skin better Trio and the Alpharet , along with the Alastin nectar but again confused ok when I should use all of them without wasting or ingredients interfering.
    Would love some insight!

nectar: 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after procedure or when skin is inflamed - for example from tretinoin

Dr. Ania I decided to take a plunge and got Alastin restorative serum. I plan to undergo micro needling using blood plasma in my dermatologist office in a few weeks. Any advise? I hope that micro needling improves my skin texture and revs up production of elastin and collagen. You have a positive influence on my routine!
