- Filmed in 2013. From the 4th floor at the main lobby area, there are corridors leading to a different hospital block where the eye and E.N.T department is. There is a set of 2 ALS (Associated Lift Services) lifts branded as Cardiff Lift Company serving all 3 floors of that block. These hydraulics have a very hospital-like interior in terms of the look and the size. The doors especially aren't in great condition, and the right lift was broken on the operation day. On the last 2 clips, I was too weak to walk back to the car because of the effect of the anasthetic, so I was in a heavy old wheelchair pushed by my Mum. The video ends with a ride back down the main lobby Schindlers and to the hospital entrance.
I think the ALS voice is totally epic. Unfortunately I am yet to find a lift myself with it still there!
It certainly is! Hopefully you'll find one - they are elusive lifts! XD
ALS voice is quite interesting, I have been in an ALS with that voice, nice video
the lifts seem perhaps a little bit tired but the voice is one you don't hear much if at all nowadays
Oh you're lucky getting an Associated Lift Services, I've only been in some 90s generics that look a bit like them XD
I didn't realise at the time of filming that it was an ALS! It was only after watching ElevatorsInWales's videos of similar lifts then I realised :)
Interesting lifts. Are you okay why were you in a wheelchair?
Oh, this was ages ago! I had an operation that day, and I was just too weak to walk to the hospital exit because of the after effects of the anasthetic! But thanks though XD
@@lovelifts1736 Ah okay good to hear
