Thank you for spending so much time on my questions. While you were answering the question regarding retails bulion system, it made me realize it works so well because there are two forms of endgame in retail, Raiding and M+. It allows players that only M+ to access gear otherwise unobtainable. Classic does not have a second form of progression, and they confirmed it in Crix' interview with the devs that they will not be adding M+ to Cata. It would probably only work if they brought it out at the halfway mark of a phase to allow players to fill in gaps of their gear. This will also keep the special feeling when a big piece of loot drops.
The change ideas had me thinking about what makes a blood dk busted. Is it the fact that death strike heals or that it shields? I had always thought it was the shield on you, and I dont know if added a bit more self healing to prot pally or prot warrior would make any waves in the meta. But, i do love the idea way more than something like reverting the mastery changes.

Np, you had great questions! It's more so the heal of DS than the shield that makes BDK busted IMO because you have self recovery from magic damage, which is pretty much every tank buster. The 31%, 51%, and 62% reduced physical damage from blocks, Holy Shield blocks, and crit blocks are competitive with Blood Shield, so the lower (pally) and non existent (war) recovery that works on magic damage is the thing that really sets them behind BDK in my mind. Ontop of the fact that BDK heals for more the more damage they take

Best lot i've seen is 3 soft reserves and rolls. You can put multiple reserves to increase number of rolls.

As long as it isn't a pug I think that works fine. The pugs I've done SR with there are always people leaving after their loot doesn't drop or they've lost it

@@SubtleFW I've been in a few groups where the loot is held until near the end of the run so people don't just leave after the first few bosses

I love the suggested changes to shield tanks. Great ideas. And to add a way to earn loot through dungeons was awesome too. I do wonder how that would affect gdkp runs. I always felt like there should be something like “you can turn 3 in-used items in to a vendor at the entrance and depending on the bosses they come off, you can trade them in for 1 specific item that the whole raid can then roll out. That way we don’t shard as much and can still see those less desirable items as something to help the raid still.
