    It's not about being wavy, it's about porosity. My hair is 2B/2C, dense and very porous. These products are really light and work very well for my hair!

      Within types things are definitely affected by porosity (I’m medium) 😊
      But wavy, curly, and coily hair even with the same porosity will generally still all 3 have much different needs!

    Thanks for your review (including your take on the scent lol). Love that you gave your two cents on accepting your hair and having realistic expectations 🥰

      I'll admit when first starting out, I had hair envy. That definitely leads to disappointment, so now I just accept my hair the way that it is....and for bad hair days, or most days even...up in a bun it goes. 🤣

    Cute bikini! I really want to try the conditioner, it has been on my radar for quite some time. It's a bit difficult to access in Australia though and I think it's overpriced here as well.

    I tend to keep it simple, so I love using just the Custard as a styler! And I *really* love the way it smells! 😆 Thanks for sharing! ❤️

    I love the kinky curly custard! My hair is 2B/2C/3A and I first tried the custard when I was still in the transitioning stage of my hair. I wasn’t completely sold on it, but to be honest I wasn’t sold on anything because my hair looked awful no matter what lol. I tried it for the first time since the other day, I also used it on its own, but with my NYM shampoo and conditioner. I was so pleasantly surprised by the results. It had a really nice hold without weighing down my hair, and gave me so much definition and volume and a smooth finish with minimal frizz. And it really did smell so good lol. I haven’t tried their other products yet but I will consider it for sure. Thanks for the video Jordan! 😇♥️ oops didn’t realize how long this was until I pressed send 😳

    As I mentioned on Instagram, I LOVE this leave in. I tried the custard before and like you, I get flash drying. I think it has aloe in it. I'll have to try it again and just add more water.

    • @JordanFaith
      @JordanFaith  Před 2 lety +1

      I hope you can get it to work! It does have aloe, which usually isn’t an issue for me but is definitely a common culprit for flash drying 😩

    I've seen this in the store and have been wondering if this would be too heavy for my hair (curlier than yours, but easily weighed down by heavy products). Might try it. My daughter has wavy hair, not as curly as mine, so this might be something that works for her as well. I like that the products have a pretty simple ingredient list.

    I also find the shampoo to be super cleansing and love the smell of both that and the conditioner (also find the conditioner gives awesome slip!) I have crazy fine hair with delicate waves but I have actually used the conditioner as a leave-in and have also tried just trickle rinsing it out. I was actually surprised that I didn’t feel like my hair was too weighed down. I haven’t tried the custard but have heard good things. I went Ecoslay orange marmalade and haven’t felt tempted to even try anything else because it’s so awesome! Though I have heard Ecoslay came out with a new lemon buttercream styler that is kinda in between a curl cream and gel so I’m very curious about that one. Have you tried the lemon buttercream from Ecoslay? I can’t imagine anything gets any better than Orange Marmalade but maaaaybe it does!?

    I loved the leave in, smelled so good never tried the custard.
    I tried the Talijah Waalid apple line but honestly it did not work on my hair at all. I'd suggest not trying it lol .

      I used to either try or skip products based on the opinions of other people, what works for you might not work for someone else and vice versa. Might be the products or even your technique.

    Hi Jordan, I have 2a - 2c hair (still transitioning) with good lift & curl at the roots, and a few loose ringlet curls in the underneath layer. But the top layer hair tends to straighten out at the ends! Instead of "finishing out" the curl, it looks messy. Any idea what could cause that?
    When I saw how your ends finish out in pretty round curls, I knew I had to ask you 😊 Thanks in advance!

    • @moneyonmind2412

      @@JordanFaith It used to be on scalp but my suave shampoo took care of that it looks like my normal skin scalp no residue on it. But I do seem to see it always on the hair

    Hi, is there a difference between a gel and a custard?

    • @JordanFaith
      @JordanFaith  Před 2 lety +2

      Hey! Custards are typically more moisturizing than gels with less hold, almost like a mix of gel and curl cream :) although this isn’t always the case
