Full time for 8 years and this is the best product on the market, hands down.

Thanks very much. There’s always a new trick to learn. And I sure like your experiment. I’ll try it myself right away. I’ll look for you out in the hills.

Do you think the Dawn trick would work with the existing gray tank water before emptying it? Maybe just topping it off? I'm from drought country and it hurts my soul to use that much fresh water to fill the tanks to clean them.

It would be worth a try to pour the dawn into an empty tank and let it fill up normally then empty it when it is full.

Wish you had poured the water out of the jug to see what the jug looked like after that

Thank you for your comment, I should have poured the contents out on video. But I can say it did an excellent job cleaning the sides of the jug.

Vinager and baking soda will do the same without the chemical fragrance.

Will unscented natural non toxic soap work? Thank you.

I cannot answer that question. I am demonstrating the unique method and feel that this is an excellent method to clean.and maintain your grey tanks

Doubtful. Dawn is not soap. It's detergent. They are chemically very different. Detergent is excellent for a job like this and is known for rinsing away very cleanly. It also performs much better in hard water. From what I know of soap, it would not do the same job. Might even leave a film and make it worse. I mean, you're probably using natural soaps in your gray tank anyway, but that's part of what's probably scumming it up.

    20oz, by weight or volume?

20 oz. for a tank of what size?

    • @DiyRVandHome

Ours is 40 gallons, and Unique just says dump 20 oz into the tank, but doesn't give a specific size tank.
