I remember hearing so many of these stations before sunrise back in the 1960's. We always wondered why stations from Mexico would come in so clear in the Ozarks...Those 100,000 watt transmitter's those stations were using on The AM band, must have been the reason.
Today KXMO 95.3 Fm. puts out 50,000 watts and reaches about 90 miles from Cuba, Missouri...
