Hello, mine OBD EGR position stays at 0,04%, so I guess it means a faulty egr valve or clogged but wich one? These engines have like two egr, high pressure and low pressure? Thanks
Hello, Have the same engine, replaced the EGR with a new one but when doing the test the valve opens only at 0,8% and I can't complete the basic settings of EGR Valve solenoid. The test you are doing it finishes, but OBD position 0,8%, and the valve solenoid it says aborted safety reasons....
Hey, I'm getting 2 errors on audi a4 2.0tdi cr, one is 4892 - EGR Valve (n18), and the other is 5336 - Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor... Is there a chance that the intake position sensor is causing trouble to the EGR? Checked the EGR with basic settings and it completed correctly.
Golf 7 ecu uses UDS protocol. older vehicles use CAN protocol and VCDS screens and menus are diferent than what is seens on the video. Though the procedure is the same. Activate Basice seting . hold brake and acelerator and wait until it says finished or turns of basic setting OFF.

Checked the EGR with basic settings and it completed correctly.
ecu disables egr when the intake flaps have trouble codes and MIL is on.

I have the same Version of VCDS with you and I didn't find the EGR test . Can you help me to set VCDS to be able to use EGR TEST ?
