  • Who are you fighting to forgive? Whether it’s an ex, someone you used to call a friend, a parent, or even a person you’re doing life with, forgiveness is a hard thing-but thank God He’s willing to help us through the process! Listen as Joyce joins the girls and they unpack the steps you can take every day to let go of offenses, respond with grace to frustrating situations, and even forgive the people who’ve caused some of your deepest wounds. As you work with Him through the process, He’ll meet you right where you are and heal you in every place where you’ve been broken.

You always imagine that those who hurt you are doing so well and having the time of their life. In reality, offenders live in the same difficult world that we all do. When I let go and let God take the reigns in those situations, He does. As time passes, you will find that all is not - was not - so well for those who offended you. Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord. Our only job to do is love them and showing kindness. Rest with that knowledge.

This episode is the single most important message I’ve heard in forgiveness and the part about being judge for our actions and not what someone else’s done put everything into proper perspective for me when it comes to forgiveness. No matter what someone’s done, God still expects me to do the right things always; that’s how I’ll be judged.

Thank you ladies. I hear my story in yours. Forgiveness is a decision I must make every day. Anger and bitterness is such a burden to carry.
Being triggered and pulled back. The hurdles can seem immense. But I too must be forgiven by God everyday.
Forgiveness is a gift I must give myself to soften my heart and love again. To Take a leap of faith and trust again, to truly live.
God is calling me to forgive. ❤️

Don’t get talked out of your dreams; switch over to “I still believe.” I still believe means the disappointment is not going to cause you to get discouraged. The negative chatter and people who don’t believe in you are not going to dampen your faith. How long it’s taking, who did you wrong, the environment you were raised in, is not going to stop your destiny. Pass the test. God is on the throne.

I pray that one day the ladies will speak on the subject of strongholds. How do we go about dealing with personal problems that have been in our life for years. Especially something that no one else knows about and you have prayed over and over again asking God to do whatever needs to be done to help you get rid of the stronghold. And every time it seems like you're making progress you fall right back into the Trap / sin. I'm 40 and I personally have been dealing with a stronghold since I was a very small child around 5 years old. Not every stronghold comes around when you're a teenager or a young adult. And it's even more scary when you've had the issue since you were a small innocent child like I was.

    • @almarobledo2038

Don’t forget that we can only do it through Christ and I know it’s not easy but know that God knows your hart and that you want to change that. Pray for strength from Him and listen to sermons about strongholds or spiritual warfare. Also read Battle Field of the mind. I love Paul Washer, maybe look to see if he has anything that can help. I will be praying for you too. Have a blessed day

The best way to deal with is cast it to God and find two people that you can shared it with preference to someone outside your daily life and not emotional attached to you and someone you can pray with after sharing it 🙏 that can be the start to stop thinking about it very often.

A real blessing - cried per usual, not even sure why. I don’t agree with not embracing the pain though. You don’t want to dwell on it but if you don’t feel & process the pain, the intensity pervades. Grieving and working through pain is complicated and can go on for decades - there are layers upon layers but yes, always forgive and pray for the people that have hurt you or you will remain stuck.

Praise the Lord! Prayerfully you all see this comment. Something the Lord put on my heart for my sister who experienced the divorce is that the best thin you could do is detach yourself from the situation; you don't have to heal holding on to, accepting, or engraving yourself into the situation. You can let go & heal without making your involvement in the situation, hurt, pro pain as apart of the forgiveness journey. The Lord will help you with this! Praying for the BEST outcome as I know God is not done with you yet; He's doing a beautiful work in you

I really needed to see this today! I have been having a hard time forgiving someone recently that's hurt me and my son, but after hearing what Joyce had to say on this episode I understand I don't have to like her, I will love her as God does, and do right and pray for her and do what God ask me to do. I have been struggling with this for awhile and that is blocking my blessings from God. I forgive her for breaking my family up may God bless her and their new baby coming soon, may nothing be wrong with the baby ..
They are cousins and having a baby. Family with family is a sin? But I forgive him and her. I will be praying and talking to Jesus about all of this when I get off here.
I LOVE this podcast! It is the best. I love Joyce Meyer and all that she does for us. Thank you God for her and people like her❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏

What a blessing to work with such beautiful 😍 Let's remove the word "hate " from our vocabulary. We can "dislike" with much less pain and hurt. Blessings for all 😇🙏

Great conversation ladies it takes a lot to share the most intimate details of your life in order to help others. I came away from this with a new perspective on forgiveness that it is a process to be taken with Spirit you don’t need to do it alone. Friends help but Spirit will move us past the hurt to forgiveness and it may take us years but the freedom to not carry the burden of anger is freeing us up for a better life.

I now understand that forgiveness doesn’t excuse the offense, but you free yourself from harboring the pain from it. I also know you can set boundaries and are not required to be a doormat or be Taken for granted by the person you forgave. Continue to pray God’s blessings because God has Continuous mercy and grace for us all.🙏

Depends on what kind of mood I'm in. I want to Harbor it for whatever reason, there's a deeper reason. When one is hurt, 1 hurts back. Sometimes until the word takes that too.😅❤❤🎉🎉

I needed to hear everything said today. This very morning at 4:22 AM! I had so many perplexing questions about forgiving those who hurt/ mistreated without apology, that it was eating me up and blocking my progress. I've been seeking God for deliverance in this area because they seem to be fine even though I'm not. I've decided to take my life back and live the way God has always wanted me to live and that is in peace and abundance. Thank you lady so much for taking the time to share your stories and to help all of us out here who are dealing with this issue of forgiveness and some type of way. Thank you for the clarity the scriptures and the real talk about real issues that we all go through and don't have a really good platform that is honest and open about this type of thing.

I could only do the best that I could do. You mentioned it so casually but it speaks volumes to me. I’ve had traumatic brain injury since 1968 and people who don’t understand brain injury are very critical in my areas of struggle. I first blamed me but when I was properly diagnosed and treated I tried to explain myself to others and when they really don’t care to know what I deal with every moment of my life, I blame them. I then have to forgive them, over and over again. It’s exhausting and, frankly, it’s so much easier to hermit but I don’t think God wants that for me.
