My grandpa passed away a week ago and this was sung as a congregational song at the funeral. He was the song leader at his church (which was a small Old Regular Baptist church) and the last time I went to church with my grandparents there 2 weeks ago he lead this song and listening to this makes me hear his voice and picture the church, both from the funeral and the last sunday I ever heard him sing. I think this may well be the "Oak's" finest moment on film! It isn't one of their secular performances, but that's why it may well, be their finest!! They were singing their hearts out for the Lord and praising him with this song, which they are responsible for introducing to the gospel music world, back in the early to mid 1970's! Along with that, the Holy Spirit was moving in that studio, no doubt, touching all who were present, and hopefully, touching and stirring every heart that watches here, on CZcams now, as well!! As many know by now, Joe Bonsall went to be with the Lord, sometime during the night, last night, (after a battle with "A L.S." a.k.a. "Lou Geherig's Disease"), and though I never got to see the "Oaks" in person, nor get to know, Duane, William Lee, Richard nor Joe personally; in my heart and mind, Joe will be SORELY & DEARLY missed!!!

@@patricksaxon3983 At the very moment when you die, immediately you will realize the importance and the vital necessity of having known, in this current life, Jesus Christ personally, knowing Him in the power of His resurrection, and of being His personal child. If you are not born again prior to that moment, you will spend an unpleasant eternity without God.
