Yo Cobb! Lotta good music from the mid-90s if you're willing to dig a little. I found one of my old mix tapes from '96 when I was working at a record store - it had on it Jolene by Cake and Mekong by the Refreshments. Mekong is a pretty straight-ahead rock song, but the lyrics are great and the drum part has some good fills and meter changes. Check it out.
