    I thought despite these chips the Bosch motors can detect. I've read months back lots of people saying it either didn't work, or did for a period then the motor detected and errorered. Is this a new chip that overcomes this?

      When these chips were first released it was not common knowledge for the resellers or the customers that you needed to wait for the countdown prior to turning of the bike. This resulted in the errors people talk of. As long as you let the countdown complete before turning off the bike the errors do not occur.

      Given enough miles it WILL throw a 504 error code. Mine is set to 20mph and I only ever let it turn itself off but after 400 miles it happened anyway. My warranty is now void on all my bosch parts.

      @@Big2009Gee We have customers doing 500km per week with these chips and not getting the 504 error code. Other chips may not function as well.
