John Denver was an American treasure, such a brilliant singer/songwriter and awesome humanitarian/environmentalist. Greatly missed. R.I.P. John Denver 🙏🏻💕
John mentions people had commented on his lack of glasses as being a "change of image". I never took it as being intentional, but I certainly saw him differently when his glasses were gone. It really DOES make a difference, like changing the color of one's hair. I thought he was MUCH better looking without the glasses. So, so sad that he died when and as he did, but I expect he felt no pain, and I'm glad for that.
John brought up the name Debra Kelly. He said Debra being married broke his heart. I think he would have gotten into a serious relationship with her under different circumstances.
6:45 that would come out later. He could talk about world peace, but he couldn't stop cheating on his wife and nearly choked her to death in a drunken rage
I think so, who would sing such song. John had a dark side he mentioned it his wife mentioned it. Music must of been his only relief for him. Not enough is talked about John his raise to stardom and his life before it all happened for him.

John always knocked my socks off .... and clear across the room ... if only in my dreams. Miss you John.
Yes Debra Parsekian (Kelly) was one lucky lady in the Don't Close Your Eyes Tonight video.

Forget what I posted, the year before JD went to Russia for an audition. He was invited back in 1985 to perform. My Bad!
Officer & a Gentleman! What? Well, Richard Gere took care of those sordid details. LOL!
❤❤❤

Hefty Bag? John And Johnny!
Funny opening number!
Thank you so much ❤
Wow, that first song he sang was a bit morbid when you think about how he died.
This The Tonight Show with Johnny was tape in 1984, not 1985. JD went to Russia in the fall of 1984.

Well...he went...but not too simple!
RIP.....
Was this song his own obituarary

I never got the Joan Rivers guest hosting thing.
Okay, when does he dismiss the Jehovahs Witnesses?
