    Man, that tip about stepping away when the hitsplat pops up is an amazing tip. I'm going to try that next time.

      This instablaster shit looks like a scam. These two accounts are probably bots and this interaction is scripted, because this video has absolutely nothing to do with Instagram and a quick google shows this type of thing happening in other CZcams comment sections.
      I reported both accounts.

    Walking under her is the more efficient method, since it won't move her and she gets to webs faster. It's worth learning. You can use the hitsplats of your teammates or watch for her animation to stop and count 3 tick, then click on 3

    • @granddadjad2892
      @granddadjad2892  Před 4 lety +3

      This is definitely a valid point! If you're in a hyper efficient team, those 3-4 seconds of her getting back are something to consider. I find it more reliable to give my team extra time to get to the web running square rather than the 1-2 seconds you'd have using the walking under method.

    Hey Jad, thanks, this is nice for learning tanking. I wonder about the hitsplats though, at 3:15 at the first attack everyone got hit at the same tick and at the next attack one got hit a tick later. How does this happen? Is it because he moved?

    Quick question.. when taking doing the 1:1 method, if I’m using a whip, do I have time to get two hits before stepping away or should I always hit once and step back?

    • @granddadjad2892
      @granddadjad2892  Před 3 lety +1

      At that point you’re not doing the 1:1 method, and it is not safe to assume you can get two hits. You can apply the same strategy in the 1 tick tanking section with a whip, but you’ll have to use the hit splat method until you learn the timing of the whip

    Are you stepping back 1t after you see the hitsplat on yourself ? Or as soon as it pops up?

    • @granddadjad2892
      @granddadjad2892  Před 2 lety +1

      Once the hitsplat is visible, click back. You don’t wait 1 tick after you see it, by then it will be too late. It should only take one mistake to know if you’re doing it wrong though!
      Make sure you tell your team that you’re practicing, so they keep HP high. If you cause 3 melees in one tanking session, go back to 1:1 until the next raid

      @@granddadjad2892 At 3:55 (the hit that you veng to be clear) it definitely looks like you waited a tick no?

    • @granddadjad2892
      @granddadjad2892  Před 2 lety

      @@omgitsmehere it just looks like that due to ping. You should see the hitsplat *and then* you click back. Your movement should happen on the tick after the hitsplat appears. You should have 0.6 seconds to click back from the time you see the hitsplat, as long as it’s within that timeframe, you’re all set
