This was my first time making cupcakes and I went with this recipe. I wasn't paying attention and mixed up the order for some of the steps. My family loved them but I think if I had followed the directions right they would have been better. I also love that there isn't a whole lot of cocoa in them. I don't like cocoa but I do like red velvet when I can't even taste the cocoa in it. Finding a recipe for that is like impossible though so I really appreciate this video. I'll definitely be making these again! Thank you for sharing.

The good thing is with cake recipes you can lighten it up with substitutes. Use light butter, greek yogurt instead of buttermilk etc!
