Another American death in a Mexican high end resort. I’m constantly seeing these. The last one was 2 adult children and their parents on some kind of tainted alcohol poisoning. All were normal healthy people.

You have to put this in perspective. What shows up in the news is statistically so rare as to be a virtual non-issue.

The couple had money, it doesn't mean their families had money. Money doesn't automatically transfer from one person to another when they die, there will be wills, probate, insurance claims, and you will need to provide death certificates and proof the money now belongs to someone else. This can take weeks or months. And with a suspicious death like this there might even need to be investigations before any money is released.
When my mom died we were fortunate that she had made arrangements early, but it still took weeks to get her accounts and insurance paid out, and we still had to pay for her funeral out of pocket.

@@1badjesus401 yes. We could only get out maybe 2 days sooner it would have to camp at the airport. So we made the best of it. Sides I was a lot younger Uncle Sam trained me well and to a certain extent I thought I was 10ft tall and bulletproof. We went into the city in the authorized taxi cab for tourists. Went to the Walmart Sam's club complex. Now there's many years ago but that'll narrow it down to send extant where we're at. We went into Walmart I don't remember going into Sam's. When overlooked at the electronics and jewelry area and the security guards had automatic military weapons. I believe they were off duty military or maybe just military assigned there. Another person I was with me all sudden had for rifles hornet at their person. I come over half-height display and course they turn their rifles towards me. Yelling at them what were they doing? Then it was defused at what appeared to be a military officer. I'm growing these comparisons to the uniforms at the military war that I encountered at the end of our trip as we were preparing to exit Mexico. Without attention we were free to remain in the store or leave. We chose to leave and go to other stores. At one time we decide to take a local bus and people really nice. We would chastise we're doing so by the authorities. Then one night we were out too late in the cab service for the tourists had ended. So we took a cabbie for the local and I only offered him an extra dollar or two without even knowing it for the ride and he jumped at it. He took us through the back way and the squalor and the poor poorest I've ever seen neighborhoods. And I've been around too many places. At the front gate they would not let him in. Once I figure it out that we were guests at this resort they brought down what amounts to an oversize golf cart to take us up to the compound from the gate. You said it was a bungalow I did not. The buildings might be considered built bigger than that. We were chastise more politely This Time by the people at the resort. Then on a bus ride from a to be to go to a tourist site. The bus driver had not cleaned the intake for the air conditioner. You did not want to get in trouble for us being uncomfortable by turning the air conditioner off. I convinced the rest of the bus that what this man said about bandits on this stretch of roads if we did not turn off the air conditioner we would be stuck. Then we would see if his story about bandits were true. I convinced the man that nobody would say anything and he believed me. So it turned off the air conditioner. It took a little bit more than that. We all put down the windows made it through to the next town. And while everybody else except for me and one other person in my party was looking around at the little jewelry knick-knack shop. Myself and one other was just carefully watching the bus driver cuz he was supposed to clean this. He took out this old bird's nest and some other straw. My appraisal and situation was that he had put it in there to set this up. Or at least somebody had. There were some other happenings. Then when we were leaving I told them exactly how I felt about the resort. I simply left on their comment card. Add did it vary proficiently without any derogative terms. Upon arriving at the airport as soon as we got into the basic corridor that would take us to our terminal, and I use that word loosely. We were met by three men two of them armed which took us to the terminal area under escort. Not via the main lobby but under the main walkway. In the rooms it look like the items in the military boats that I'd had taken pictures of when we had cruised by them on a boat. I don't know if it's the same person who gave me a look and slammed the door on that boat. I assumed that they were tracking activity on that water way and we're looking for drug runners. This is what we were told they were doing when someone happened to notice on the boat that I was interested and what those little PT miniaturize looking boats were doing. The one man joined the two guards and said you American Military? I said once was. He just grunted. This place was heavily fortified. It's sitting right underneath the airport as if it's the basement level. We got your departure point and there was two choices one area was for Cuba departure and the other area was for Texas departure 🛫. The man saw me looking over at the Cuba area. He said you could go to either place but you're leaving Mexico. He said I don't think they would like you and Cuba too much either. Now I have no idea what they thought I did because there is nothing that I did for us to warrant such treatment. I said I think I've had enough adventure I'm going back to Texas. He told me that was a wise choice. He said your America's problem now. I knew that American officials and have no problem with me. I still do not know what it was all about. I stopped caring just as long as I was away from that place. Also when we were parasailing above the beach while we were still there you can see multiple schools of sharks in near formation to the terrace swimming in the beach. Made for interesting video and from that point on we just swam in the pool. By the way they told us there were nets out there to keep the sharks away from us. If there were the sharks were within the area of the net with the terrorist. But don't worry it was during mating season for sharks. Do you think sharks mod been more easily agitated during mating season if they were felt to be interrupted? You think this story's wild you are here some of them about things going on in our country. And I ain't talkin about that image on the beer can I'm talking about similar to what I just described in Mexico. I hope that this may answer your questions why we stayed. By the way I was pulled aside from the rest when we were in processing in Texas. I had my camera out in a sensitive area but they went ahead and let me keep the camera with the pictures. That was for everybody else has ears and I was debriefed at that time. I told them what I saw what I experienced. He just assumed I from Texas probably buy the stagger I walked with that the time. I was returned to the line without losing my place. And he welcomed me back home to Texas. I will admit the departure from Mexico and the arrival and Texas like that was odd to say the least. You don't think that the person in charge of the resort told me about what happened how the rebels are the bandidos gangs whatever you like to call them, walked over to me and said sir this is the reason why. No you get your information from the feet on the ground kind of people hear it then you sneak over there take a look to see if it's true and take some pictures. I thank you for your question chance to clarify. And I'll be glad to ask you some more questions if you're interested.
