दूसरे गाड़ी में इस तरह की घटिया प्रोब्लम नही देखा जाता है.. लॉन्ग ड्राइव में अगर यह प्रोब्लम आता है तो परेशानी ही परेशानी..अगली गाड़ी किसी हालत में हुंडई की नहीं लूंगा..मेरी गाड़ी में यह दिक्कत एक बार नही,कई बार आई है..हाल ही में स्लेव सिलेंडर चेंज करना पड़ा 2020 में खरीदा हुआ गाड़ी में,एक बार तो प्लास्टिक का क्लच सिलेंडर टूट ही गया था..!!!

Please make videos on how to check i20 GEAR OIL level in 1.2 petrol manual transmission. Engine oil is very common but still no videos on gear oil.
I also wannted to know about this.. Bcoz there's a no any markings or nothing.. .. My machanic just put whenever tank full he remove the flask... Extra oil drop in my bottle and he put almost 2.2. Lr oil.. But Hyundai recommend 1.9 litre... But shop owner who sold me that gear oil.. He also told me take 2.5 lite.. Its okey to be

Really a very helpful video, this small problem with my i20 had never been identified, and i ended up spending 45k to get replaced all clutch parts. Even they replaced the master cylinder, but never identified the slave cylinder. Now i got it root caused from this video. Thank you so much.

Same problem happen with me today, clutch jam and car stopped in mid highway. People help me to move my venue car aside the road.
Later on suddenly it start working.
Now I loose confidence in hyundai.
This is horrible if u r traveling in night.

Mera cylinder abhi recent change hua hai Nov-2020 me...mujhe 2 mahine wait karna pada wo cylinder part ke liye as wo available nahi tha as per service centre.

Thank you very much for the information , for your information only today i could save almost Rs 5000 . I too have an 2017 elite i20 and facing same slave cylinder issue , reached service centre for the same . Their the service advisor directly quoted the price of Rs 5800 ( changing whole slave cylinder) , i too was shocked from their words because everyone almost there knows that there is a child part for that which would cost less but they push customer to spend more . Then i talked to the service advisor regarding same and i told that i would give him some tips for it , than only he had provided that child part to me . I spend Rs 1000 ( including tip to the service advisor) , now I don’t understand why this service advisor are doing like this , today i knew what to change in slave cylinder but not everyone knows it, so if somebody doesn’t know they will end up spending huge amount.

The problem with the Hyundai I20 car is its fragile master clutch cyllinder and slave cyllinder..the clutch cyllinder is made of plastic and often broken down due to pressure on clutch pedal continuously..I wonder why Hyundai,who are so famous for customer service make clutch cyllinder and slave cylinder so weak and fragile..please give wide publicity to compel Hyundai to henceforth make sturdy parts..👍👍👍

This is the best video by far. You deserve all the kudos. I had the same problem today and Hyundai authorized service told they have to replace the entire cylinder. Quoted me 11,000 rupees. It is amazing how the experience varies from service centre to service centre.

Awesome, you technique of explanation is very simple, detailed and easy to understand. Keep up the good job. I had the same issue in my 2010 i20 last month (Sep 2020) and had to replace the slave cylinder. This was done before too and looks like a common problem in Hyundai cars. It’s expensive too, slave cylinder costs over 3000, I bought a third party suppler part for 1500. If this child part was available before then it would have been much cheaper. Anyways I think Hyundai recently started supplying this child part separately. It will make cost of ownership much cheaper for Hyundai cars

Wish all the service centres have mechanic like you. I had similar issue and but they denied the repair work and insisted on replacement only.
I have been facing problem with my clutch pedal in i20 2nd gen. Changed the slave cylinder twice and the problem persists again. I think this will work, Thank you so much for providing this solution. Great hack. Kudos buddy.

I got a problem second time in my i20 elite after a year of changing slave cylinder...this happened when engine got hot then the clutch became so hard it was impossible to press it. Then I parked at a corner and opened bonnet and allowed engine to cool and noticed my coolant box was completely empty so filled it with cold water and waited for 15 mins. After this the clutch pedal became soft again and I drove to my home.later i called the service centre and got car serviced but did not need to change the cylinder this time...now thankfully the child part is available so will replace that only...
