That's a really nice pack over all, it looks to me like it would be a great pack for camping. It looks totally different then the original Typhoon to me! And you're right, they could have put more Velcro on it. Hell my FR-1 has a bigger loop field! Idk why they would do away with that. And the CC pocket like you said, kind of a fail. I wont be able to CC until next year, so in the mean time i carry extra crap in that pocket, its a huge plus! Great video, man. I really enjoyed it!
Yeah, look at the date, this was an old video and I was lazy that day. The color is sweet. I still wish it had a conceal carry pocket like all their other gear, other then that its a really nice day pack and cant really over fill it so it always stays light weight.

Just bought 1 tonight for fishing gear for when I am on the river or lake. I think this is gonna be a good hunting/fishing pack when you do not need to bring a ton of stuff.
Good review, how comfortable is it on the shoulder straps, is it very cushioning? Right now I'm using a HAZARD 4 ROCKET EVEC and the strap is very comfortable that I don't have any problems at all.

Great review brother, Super guitar work as well! I really looked at these as I had a G1 Typhoon as well. Love the size of this new one. The lack of internal organization, and price said no. I ended up with a 5.11 Rush 12. Short of the lack of colors, the 5.11 Rush line kicks Maxs ass. Check 'em out.
This redesign is disappointing. It appears that this bag was rushed to satisfy strap complaints and wasn't thought out. They cheaped out on things, molly, ccw pocket, water bottle pocket, etc. The straps even look cheap with no padding. I was looking forward to this bag and wanted to pick it up, but I think I'll stick with my 5.11 Rush 12 for now. I imagine they will add missing features to it in the future.

Exactly, its the perfect day bag and never gets to heavy so you have it with you more.

@losteden Im a big fan of CONDOR. The LA Police Gear 3 day pack for 29 bucks is a hell of a deal too.

Great bag. Do you still have it? How did it hold up with regular use?
I like Max-Ped stuff, but in this size I love the 5.11 packs ( especially the 48 hr packs).
They really did take a step backwards on the revised pack.
use a tripod next time. Pretty dizzy after watching. :) Pretty interesting backpack, i'll get one soon. I specially like the Khaki Foliage color.

Its been fine, just without the conceal carry pocket it really isnt worth the buck 20. Im glad I have it but id suggest something else.

The pack is so small that its fine and hard to over load it to make the straps an issue.
