I am a massive fan of golden era Hollywood and I believe these beautiful old homes should be made landmarks so they can be protected from imbeciles like Pia Zadora and her ex husband who tore down Pickfair to build a cheap, ugly, classless McMansion and destroyed the most beautiful and historic home in Hollywood!!!!!!!
Lovely and vintage as this house may be --- I can't help noticing that W.C. Fields, one of the greatest comedians in Vaudeville and film, chose to live in a development called LAUGHlin ! ! ! 😄 😆 🤣

Didnt a child of Anthony Quinn die in the pool of WC Fields' house?
Christopher, Anthony's 2 year old son and the grandson of Cecil B. Demille, drowned in the lily pond on the property. Fields then had the pond filled in. That's back in 1941 when all that land just housed Fields and Demille. If you pause this video on the aerial view of the property around 1:08, you can see the outline of where the pond was in the grass.
