Mount Jefferson State Park - Ashe County, NC

We visited Mount Jefferson State Park, near the towns of Jefferson and West Jefferson, North Carolina.
Mount Jefferson is in Ashe County, which is in the Northwestern corner of North Carolina. Ashe County borders Virginia to the north, and Tennessee to the west.
The State Park features 3 main scenic overlooks, several hiking trails, and a picnic area near the summit, with grills and a covered pavilion.
