A good teacher remembers when he didn't know the subject matter and can start teaching from the elements of what comprises the tool, segueing to the basics of using the tool, via examples, and finally drawing conclusions and comparisons to similar tools; you are definitely a Master Teacher.
Wow, I really appreciate your words. Thank you so much for being so kind. I really hope that what I do serves you in some way or another. Have a great day!
Wow, I've seen quite a few tutorials for Perplexity, but your work is really good. You deserve a few 10K more subscribers.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I will continue trying to make it even better! Hugs!
Subscribed because of the fun intro, but even more so, your naturally fun and thoroughly informative delivery. EXCELLENT!!!
Thank you so much for these words! It makes me want to continue. I really appreciate it. Have a good day!
If you don't mind me asking: What tools or site did you use for your news report intro? Love it!
Of course, no problem! I used: Midjourney to create the images, Pikalabs to put movement on them, Elevenlabs to create the lines of dialogue, Lalamu to insert the dialogue into the video, and Vmake ai to enhance resolution of the video. Here you go! Stay kind
Thank you so much for explaining which software you used. Also great video !
I'm in love!!!
Good stuff!
Thankyou 👏 ,from Thailand
You are very welcome! Stay Kind!
Excelent presentation.
Thank you so much!
This does not highlight the area in the reference websites to make it easy to find like Google? That is an option that really saves time in researching, but this does not do that, right?
CURRENTLY (because you KNOW that's all soon to change), Google search indexes and looks for only key words and phrases - it doesn't search for concepts nor does it reason about or summarize content on a website according to the explicit and implicit desires of your query. In so doing, Perplexity - and the underlying LLM of choice - AREN'T just locating key words and phrases; therefore, it would be a rather jumbled mess for it to point out that it looked at and considered EVERYTHING on the page when formulating its answer(s).
@@BigMTBrain "That's all soon to change" is the perfect slogan for the AI era we are living in. Thank for the comment! Stay kind
@@RafaTV-ai ABSOLUTELY! And thank you for your comment!
Are the answers copyrighted? If not, do they pass AI content tests as human written?
Hi! The answers are taken in the same way as we take them from the internet nowadays, so we would have the same problem. Perplexity is a question search engine, the info always comes from the internet.
Thank you for this v interesting and helpful info. I will certainly try it out for myself.
The Library function seems like a very useful facility, however I can imagine it getting very cumbersome as my 100s of searches queries keep being added in. So, can I assume there is someway to structure and/or organize this so it becomes more manageable?
Hello! You can add any threat to a collection as needed, that's how I am doing it for now. At this time I don't see that you can create folders/subfolders to organise your threads (if it is what you are refering to). Hope it helped!
@@RafaTV-aiThank you for replying. I'll take a deeper look as I work with it - my concern (which may prove unfounded) is that I imagine over time I will make 000's of queries and they will just accumulate endlessly and end up losing value.
@@rgarlinyc Yes, I see what you are saying. This is a quite new app, hopefully they will come up with solutions for that. Stay Kind!
@@RafaTV-aiYes, and thank you again.
Thanks for this tutorial! I recently signed up for Perplexity PRO to give it a thorough try. I'm curious, though. When I click on NEW THREAD, I get the same window. However, it has a PRO toggle and not a COPILOT toggle. I'm not seeing COPILOT on any area of the product. Do you have any ideas as to why?
You are very welcome! I am happy that it was useful to you. I see the PRO toggle instead of the COPILOT (they may have changed it), but bear in mind that I am not using the PRO plan. My understanding is that when you have a PRO plan, you don't need to use the toggle because the COPILOT is active in all your searches. Did you try to ask the question to Perplexity?
I'm trying to decide if it's worth paying for the Pro tier.
You can try it for one month, and then decide to pay better prices yearly , if you can afford it!
Does not work for explicit content. It shows sources, but the AI refuses to elaborate.
I think it does!
This basically looks like a RAG-based summary engine...
Could be!
If it’s so great why aren’t you using the pro version? It’s only $20 a month seems reasonable to me if it’s that good.
1) just b/c he’s showing us the free version doesn’t mean he doesn’t have the pro 2) you don’t know his pockets so therefore don’t spend his money 3) if his needs suffice with the free than why spend money 4) this is only 1 tool, RHIS might be “just $20” but if he has 50 million other things he’s paying for ADDING 20 MORE dollars is no longer just a “just”. 5) just enjoy the video rather than questioning why he’s not using the pro plan (for this tutorial/ video) UNLESS you’re asking in a genuine way which, just fyi, your choice of words didn’t give the ‘coming from a genuine curiosity’ tone when you say it’s just anything.
Thanks for your kindness, my friend. Stay kind
Love your videos so much! Can you make a tutorial video on FlexClip’s AI tools? Really looking forward to that!
I am super happy you like these videos!!! Thank you so much! I will take a look to this tool but I normally create the videos myself! Thanks for the idea. Stay kind
