For everyone still confused, every region sends 4 teams to champs, first three teams are the top three teams from playoffs and the fourth team is the team with the highest points out of the rest of the 7 teams.
So teams like C9 and KRÜ need to get top 3 but a team like SEN is already in a good spot to get that fourth spot even if they bomb out

@@Loopybiscuit63top 3 are the teo grand finals teams and the loser of the lower final. The difference is in seeding at champions but the stakes are definitely lower

Imo completely understanding VTC is the equivalent of a PhD cause I still don't understand anything lmao
Its so easy 4 teams go to champs.
Lets take geng as an example. They have the most championship points and play in single elim in playoffs if they lose they are technically out for champs cause they didnt make playoffs. BUT they have the most championship points so they would still go thru. The other 3 teams are decided in playoffs and the 3 best of playoffs secure champs. GenG won their single elim game so they are thru alr so the 4 best teams from playoffs go to champs. Championship points are basically a safety net in case the team with the most points fails in single elim.
So if u do good all year and have one slip up in playoffs then u still go to champs.

the idea behind champs is the best team through the entire season make it there. its def confusing system esp when the league stage is about to end and playoffs for each region are about to begin, and there's still points to be awarded, but once the playoffs end the teams that make champs should theoretically be the best performing teams through the season. Confusing for sure, but kind of prevents lucky runs in masters from teams that do terrible all season and win through just one bracket run

In football term, Championship is League equivalent & Masters is Cup equivalent. To win champ you have to consistent performance for all season meanwhile you only need good luck & good performance for certain period to win masters

Yeah so basically playoffs qualify 3 teams and the 4th one is chosen with points. so winning ur regionals and internationals pretty much gets you into champs
